- • The GTM Business Operations & Strategy Lead for Codex at OpenAI will drive go-to-market strategy for the Codex business, shaping how new products and platform capabilities are commercialized and scaled across customer segments and markets.
- • Day to day, the role involves leading GTM strategy, defining north star goals and KPIs, developing growth strategies and customer segmentation frameworks, partnering with Product on roadmap input, collaborating with Pricing and Finance on monetization models, conducting market and competitive research, and aligning cross-functional teams on execution.
- • The role sits within the GTM Strategy & Growth team, which partners with Product, Sales, Success, Data Science, Finance, and Marketing to define and execute go-to-market strategies for new product launches, commercialization models, and market expansion.
- • The individual will develop deep expertise in B2B GTM motions for technical products, influence product roadmap through customer and market insights, design commercialization strategies, and lead high-impact cross-functional initiatives that drive growth and adoption of Codex offerings.
🎯 Requirements
- • 10+ years of experience in GTM strategy, business operations, management consulting, product strategy, finance, or related functions in high-growth technology environments
- • Strong fluency in data and analytics, including defining success metrics, interpreting trends, and driving data-informed decision-making
- • Experience working with technical or developer-based products and understanding developer and enterprise GTM motions
- • Demonstrated success leading complex cross-functional initiatives spanning strategy, operations, and execution
- • Ability to define long-term strategic direction while diving into operational details to ensure execution excellence
- • Strong communication and collaboration skills to influence senior stakeholders across technical and non-technical teams
