  • • Tolken is seeking a highly motivated and execution-oriented Go-to-Market (GTM) Lead to join our foundational team. As one of our earliest GTM hires, you will play a pivotal role in shaping how Tolken connects with the world. Working directly alongside the founders, you will be instrumental in building robust pipeline systems, meticulously tracking prospects, and ensuring that no opportunity or follow-up is ever missed. This is a high-ownership, hands-on position designed for individuals who excel in the dynamic and often ambiguous environment of an early-stage startup. While deep fintech experience is not a prerequisite, a strong drive, exceptional clarity of thought, and a proactive, build-from-the-ground-up mindset are essential.
  • • Your primary responsibility will be to establish and maintain the operational backbone of our GTM efforts. This involves building and refining prospecting systems using cutting-edge tools such as Clay, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and other modern automation platforms. You will be the ultimate owner of our CRM hygiene, ensuring it serves as the single source of truth for all GTM activities and prospect data. Every lead source—whether from outbound efforts, inbound inquiries, warm introductions, or industry conferences—will be meticulously logged and actively progressed, with clear, actionable next steps defined for each.
  • • A key focus will be on enhancing the efficiency and data quality of our GTM processes. You will leverage systems and tooling to drive improvements, minimizing manual effort and maximizing scalability. This means constantly seeking ways to optimize workflows, automate repetitive tasks, and ensure the integrity of our data. Your systems-thinking approach will bring order and structure to potentially messy workflows, creating a predictable and reliable GTM engine.
  • • Beyond system management, you will be the linchpin for ensuring seamless follow-through on all critical interactions. This includes capturing key details from all founder-led conversations, diligently tracking action items, and driving them to completion. You will be responsible for preparing comprehensive meeting briefs, providing essential context such as company background, previous discussion points, and relevant collateral to ensure founders are always well-prepared.
  • • Managing calendars, sequencing outreach, and overseeing next steps across a growing pipeline of active conversations will be a core part of your role. You will act as a central point of coordination, ensuring that momentum is maintained and that every prospect receives timely and appropriate attention. Furthermore, you will be involved in coordinating physical GTM activities, including the logistics for conferences, in-person meetings, and any necessary travel arrangements, ensuring these events are executed smoothly and effectively.
  • • You will also contribute significantly to our sales enablement efforts, helping to codify our GTM strategy and learnings. This involves creating and maintaining essential sales assets, such as concise 2-pagers, detailed Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) definitions, and insightful market maps. These materials will be crucial for equipping the team with the necessary resources to engage prospects effectively.
  • • A critical aspect of your role will be to translate our operational experiences into a living, evolving GTM playbook. This playbook will document best practices, including effective talk tracks, common objections and how to handle them, and robust qualification flows. By codifying these learnings, you will help accelerate the onboarding of future team members and ensure consistency in our GTM approach.
  • • You will operate the founders' LinkedIn profiles from a logistical perspective, managing cadence, routing inbound messages, and ensuring timely follow-ups. This is not about ghostwriting content, but rather about ensuring the professional presence and responsiveness of our leadership team on this key platform.
  • • Finally, you will act as a crucial feedback loop between the market and the company. By spotting patterns and insights from conversations, content engagement, and market interactions, you will surface valuable intelligence back to the GTM team and the product development team. This continuous flow of information will be vital for refining our strategy, improving our product-market fit, and driving overall business growth.
  • • Success in this role means that founder calendars are consistently filled with high-quality, well-prepared conversations. It means that no leads or follow-ups ever fall through the cracks, ensuring maximum conversion potential. It means that our CRM and pipeline data are clean, current, and trusted, providing a reliable foundation for strategic decision-making. It means that our GTM playbook and enablement assets are continuously improved based on real-time market feedback, keeping us agile and effective. Ultimately, it means that founder selling time compounds month over month, driving exponential growth for Tolken.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Strong fluency with core GTM tools, including but not limited to Clay, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and productivity/documentation systems like Notion or similar.
  • • Demonstrated ability to configure AI-assisted and automation workflows to streamline processes (no coding expertise required).
  • • Excellent written communication skills, capable of crafting clear, concise, and professional emails, follow-ups, and sales materials suitable for founder-level communication.
  • • Exceptional attention to detail and a proven track record of strong follow-through on tasks and commitments.
  • • Genuine curiosity about the fintech and payments industries, and a desire to understand how markets function in practice.
