- • The Channel Partnerships team in Malaysia is responsible for expanding Airwallex’s partner relationships, specifically across three core industries: Accounting, Start-ups & Ecommerce.
- • The team is seeking a strategic, data driven Channel Partnerships Manager to support the Malaysia Partnerships team.
- • The Channel Partnerships Manager will acquire and manage relationships with Airwallex ambassadors and strategic partners, including key segments within the e-commerce, corporate secretary, and the start-up space.
- • The role will involve managing all processes for acquiring and managing Airwallex partnerships (prospecting, meetings, contracting, integration (if required), onboarding and on-going management/ activation).
- • The Channel Partnerships Manager will be responsible for overachieving revenue targets through referrals from partnerships.
- • The role will also involve coordinating with cross-functional teams within Airwallex, including legal, strategy, operations and finance where required to deliver a seamless experience for our partners.
- • The Channel Partnerships Manager will maintain ongoing engagement with partners to build towards a long-lasting relationship.
- • The role will also involve contributing ideas and initiatives to senior Airwallex stakeholders on how we can continue to strengthen our partner network.
- • The Channel Partnerships Manager will work closely with the SME & Growth Business team to develop tailored solutions that streamline cross-border payments and unlock new revenue streams for SME customers.
- • The role will also involve analyzing data and using AI to work smarter and solve problems faster.
- • The Channel Partnerships Manager will be responsible for building relationships with key stakeholders, including partners, customers, and internal teams.
- • The role will also involve developing and executing strategies to drive growth and revenue through partnerships.
- • The Channel Partnerships Manager will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities and partnerships.
- • The role will also involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and implement business plans and strategies.
- • The Channel Partnerships Manager will be responsible for analyzing market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
- • The role will also involve developing and maintaining relationships with key partners and stakeholders.
- • The Channel Partnerships Manager will be responsible for identifying and mitigating risks associated with partnerships and business development activities.
- • The role will also involve developing and implementing processes and procedures to ensure the successful management of partnerships and business development activities.
🎯 Requirements
- • 3+ years’ experience in partnership, sales, marketing or business development.
- • Experience in negotiation and partnership proposal development preferred.
- • Experience in strategy/ops or working in tech or a fast-growing start-up would be advantageous.
- • Existing relationships / strong network with referral partners in e-commerce, corporate secretary, or start-up space preferred.
- • Excellent written, verbal and in-person communication skills in English, Chinese is optional nice to have.
- • Strong analytical skills with experience with tools including Excel, Salesforce, etc.
- • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
