Full Job Description
đź“‹ Description
- • Lead the GTME Ecosystem Certifications & Badges program as a mini-founder, owning end-to-end strategy for a professional certification and badge system that validates skill and creates opportunity in the emerging GTM Engineering discipline.
- • Define certification rigor through job task analysis, assessment philosophy, rubrics, and hybrid quiz-plus-workbook models; design a non-linear badge ecosystem rewarding community, content, peer review, and platform engagement.
- • Operate and scale the grading pipeline including peer-review council calibration, SLAs, and automations; manage vendor relationships for credentialing portal and tools like Accredible and Yoodli.
- • Partner cross-functionally with GTMOps, Sales, and partner teams to embed credentials into demand and supply flows; build in public through marketing, comms, and reconfirmation cadences.
- • Uphold credential integrity by prioritizing rigor over accessibility, ensuring certifications are resume-worthy and trusted by employers hiring Clay talent.
- • Learn and adapt rapidly in an AI-native landscape, continuously redefining "good" as frontier models evolve and the GTME profession takes shape.
- • Join a mission-driven, creatively fueled team at Clay Labs Inc., backed by $100M Series C funding and $100M+ revenue, serving clients like Anthropic, Notion, Google, and Ramp.
- • Thrive in a culture where employees are DJs, activists, writers, clowns, marathoners, skydivers, and more — supported by free access to world-class coaches in creativity, management, and beyond.
- • Contribute to a community of 11,000+ customers, 150+ integration partners, 125+ agencies, 50+ Clay clubs, and 30k Slack members, all part of a growing GTME ecosystem.
🎯 Requirements
- • Proven ability to design and manage certification programs, including assessment design, rubrics, and grading systems with a focus on rigor and validity.
- • Experience building and scaling operational systems such as peer-review workflows, SLAs, automation, and vendor-managed tooling (e.g., Accredible, Credly, Yoodli).
- • Strong systems thinking with comfort in ambiguity — able to define frameworks from scratch in an emerging discipline without established playbooks.
- • Builder mindset: comfortable executing both strategic design and tactical tasks like writing comms, grading submissions, and troubleshooting tools.
- • Deep commitment to credential integrity — understands that trust is earned through standards, not volume, and resists rubber-stamping tendencies.
- • Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills to partner with GTMOps, Sales, and partner teams to align credentials with business outcomes.
🏖️ Benefits
- • Opportunity to shape a nascent profession as a mini-founder with full ownership and impact on a high-visibility, strategic initiative.
- • Access to free, world-class coaching in creativity, management, and personal development for all employees.
- • Hybrid work preference with bias toward NYC in-person collaboration, open to remote for exceptional candidates.
- • Part of a rapidly growing, well-funded company ($100M Series C, $100M+ revenue, $5B valuation) with backing from Sequoia, CapitalG, and First Round.
- • Engage with a vibrant, diverse community of 11k+ customers, 150+ partners, 125+ agencies, and 30k Slack members.
- • Culture that celebrates multidimensional identities — employees are encouraged to bring their full selves as DJs, activists, writers, clowns, marathoners, and more.
