- • This role invites candidates to create their own position within the GTME Ecosystem team at Clay Labs, focusing on defining what it means to be a GTM engineer by building programs, community, and resources for an AI-native profession.
- • Day to day, the person will own a wedge end-to-end — setting strategy, executing plans, measuring outcomes, recruiting resources, and shipping work publicly, operating as a founder inside the team with full creative latitude and accountability.
- • The team is part of Clay Labs, a company helping organizations turn growth ideas into reality through creativity and AI, serving clients like Anthropic, Notion, Google, and Ramp, with a unique culture enriched by diverse employee passions and access to world-class coaches.
- • In this role, the person can learn to compound ecosystem impact, move at AI-native speed (weeks, not quarters), raise team standards through high-agency execution, and grow as a mini-founder by turning a unique idea into scalable impact at a $5B-valued company.
🎯 Requirements
- • Proven experience starting something from scratch — such as a company, community, product, content brand, club, or course — without external direction
- • Exceptional ability in a specific domain, demonstrated by a sharp edge and a body of work that proves expertise
- • Deep obsession with GTM and AI, including clear opinions on how go-to-market is evolving and a desire to shape its future
- • Strong storytelling skills — able to pitch an idea concisely, defend it clearly, and execute it with measurable outcomes
- • High agency and low ego: takes initiative without waiting for permission and does not seek credit, motivated by leverage and impact
- • Track record of doing unreasonable things and seeking to repeat them at a larger scale
