📋 Description

• Lead the strategic vision and execution of Phantom’s brand creative identity across all consumer-facing channels, ensuring differentiation in the crypto and fintech landscape.
• Manage, mentor, and scale a team of brand and motion designers, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and professional growth.
• Oversee the end-to-end creative development of go-to-market campaigns, product launches, brand activations, and digital content spanning social, web, mobile, and offline platforms.
• Establish and enforce comprehensive brand guidelines covering visual language, typography, color, motion, and tone to ensure consistency across product, marketing, and communications teams.
• Partner closely with marketing, product, communications, and executive leadership to align creative output with business goals, user insights, and growth objectives.
• Drive culturally relevant and breakthrough creative that demystifies crypto for mainstream audiences while building trust and emotional connection with the brand.
• Leverage performance data, user feedback, and market trends to continuously refine creative strategies and maximize impact at scale.
• Serve as the primary steward of Phantom’s visual storytelling, translating complex financial and blockchain concepts into intuitive, approachable, and compelling design experiences.
• Champion innovation in design execution by exploring emerging trends in motion, interaction, and brand expression within the consumer technology space.
• Ensure all creative outputs reflect Phantom’s core values of simplicity, security, and user empowerment, reinforcing the brand’s position as a leader in self-custodial wallets.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver cohesive brand experiences that support user onboarding, retention, and ecosystem expansion across multiple blockchain networks.
• Represent Phantom’s brand externally through thought leadership, partnerships, and public-facing creative initiatives that elevate the company’s profile in the global crypto community.

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in brand design leadership
• Proven track record managing and scaling high-performing creative teams
• Expertise in visual, brand, and motion design disciplines
• Strong portfolio demonstrating brand-building and cross-channel campaign execution
• Deep understanding of cultural trends and ability to translate them into brand-relevant creative
• Excellent communication and presentation skills to inspire teams and executive stakeholders
