This pivotal leadership role is designed for an individual who can seamlessly blend strategic partnership management, robust business development, and profound technical expertise to significantly accelerate our growth within the dynamic cloud ecosystem. As the Head of Cloud, you will be instrumental in managing our Advanced AWS Partnership, a critical function that involves securing vital funding and credits essential for the successful execution of our client projects. Furthermore, you will be tasked with cultivating and nurturing world-class cloud competencies within our talented team, ensuring we remain at the forefront of cloud innovation.

You will navigate the complexities of intricate partnership agreements, drive revenue growth through strategic cloud initiatives, and position Neurons Lab as a leader in AI/ML cloud consulting. Your leadership will directly impact our ability to deliver cutting-edge solutions to our clients, enhance our service offerings, and solidify our market position.
• • Our primary objective is to drive Neurons Lab's cloud strategy and elevate our AWS partnership to achieve measurable and substantial business growth. This will be accomplished through several key pillars:
• • Partnership Excellence: A core responsibility will be to maintain and actively expand our Advanced AWS Partnership status. The ambitious goal is to achieve Premier Tier partnership within the next 18 months, signifying a deep and mature relationship with AWS and unlocking significant benefits and opportunities.
• • Funding Success: You will lead the charge in securing AWS funding and credits for client engagements. The objective is to achieve an outstanding success rate of 95% or higher on all AWS funding applications, with a critical target of completing applications within an average of just 2 business days. This efficiency is crucial for accelerating project timelines and client satisfaction.
• • Engineering Excellence: A significant focus will be placed on establishing and enforcing high-level technical standards. This includes ensuring all solutions are architected for maximum reusability, implementing comprehensive and rigorous documentation practices, and creating robust knowledge-sharing frameworks. These initiatives are designed to accelerate our team's capability development, enhance solution delivery speed, and maintain consistent quality across all projects.
• • New Service Development: You will be responsible for launching and scaling at least three new cloud service offerings that are projected to generate over €200,000 in annual recurring revenue. Potential areas include Well-Architected Review services, specialized Migration offerings, AWS Marketplace solutions, and innovative Cloud Reselling programs.
• • Market Leadership: A key strategic aim is to establish Neurons Lab as a recognized thought leader in the AI/ML cloud solutions space. This will be achieved through strategic content creation, active participation in industry speaking engagements, and fostering strong collaborative partnerships.
• • Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) will guide our progress and measure success:
• • Maintain a 95%+ success rate on submitted AWS funding applications.
• • Successfully secure AWS funding through programs like Proof of Concept (PoC) and Migration Acceleration Program (MAP), with a target of 2-day turnaround for PoC funding applications.
• • Complete and meticulously document at least 10 AWS Well-Architected reviews annually, which are primarily billable client activities.
• • Increase the AWS certification portfolio across all levels (Foundational, Associate, and Professional/Specialty) by 30% annually in terms of the number of certifications held by the team.
• • Meet or exceed a 50% billable utilization target for the team, while effectively balancing internal strategic initiatives.
• • Achieve Premier Tier AWS Partnership status within 18 months of assuming the role.
• • Your areas of responsibility will be strategically divided across three core domains, each representing approximately one-third of your focus:
• • AWS Partnership & Business Development (33%): This includes serving as the primary liaison with the AWS partnership team, negotiating contracts, and securing optimal terms. You will lead AWS funding acquisition efforts, manage competency applications and renewals, and identify new business opportunities within the AWS ecosystem.
• • Technical Leadership & Engineering Excellence (33%): This domain involves defining and enforcing architecture standards for reusability and scalability, establishing a culture of comprehensive documentation, and creating knowledge-sharing frameworks. You will implement modern development practices, ensure deliverables meet AWS Well-Architected standards, and lead innovation by staying abreast of emerging cloud technologies.
• • Strategic Customer Projects & Service Launch (33%): You will lead the onboarding and initial implementations for key enterprise clients, particularly in the Financial Services Industry. This includes driving the launch of new cloud service offerings, participating in market entry projects, developing reference customers, and leading cutting-edge AI/ML implementations that showcase our technical leadership.
