- • As Head of Courier Supply for Greece, you will own end-to-end courier supply operations in one of Wolt’s largest markets, ensuring reliable, cost-efficient delivery capacity at scale by turning demand into supply through forecasting, incentives, and real-time balancing.
- • Day to day, you will lead and develop a team of ~5 people, own KPIs including availability, utilization, cost efficiency, and service reliability, define and execute supply strategies across hourly, daily, and seasonal horizons, drive forecasting and incentive design using AI-driven tools, optimize incentive structures, improve courier acquisition and retention, partner with Product, Analytics, Finance, and Global Ops on tooling and automation, collaborate with local teams and external partners, and detect and act on operational anomalies to prevent service degradation.
- • You will report to the South Head of Operations at Wolt Enterprises Oy, a global logistics and delivery technology company operating in over 500 cities across 30 countries, known for building scalable, innovative delivery solutions and fostering an entrepreneurial, high-impact culture where employees are challenged and rewarded for driving measurable outcomes.
- • In this role, you will gain deep expertise in marketplace dynamics, AI-driven operations, and scalable supply systems, develop leadership and cross-functional influence, and have the opportunity to shape how automation and data transform core logistics decisions in a high-growth, international environment.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree is a plus
- • 8+ years of experience in strategy, operations, consulting, or leadership roles in fast-paced environments, with 3+ years in leadership roles (owning teams, not just projects)
- • Strong marketplace understanding (supply–demand mechanics) and operational rigor across multiple time horizons
- • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills, with solid financial acumen (forecasting, ROI, cost control)
- • Experience leading projects and driving execution in complex, cross-functional environments
- • Demonstrated ability to hire, coach, and develop high-performing teams
- • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
- • Fluency in both English and Greek is a requirement
- • Ability to work from the Athens office four times a week with one optional work from home day
