• • As the Head of Data at Ravio Technologies Limited, you will be instrumental in shaping the future of compensation intelligence by leading and scaling our data function. Reporting directly to the CPTO and Technical Co-Founder, this pivotal role encompasses Data Engineering, Analytics, and Data Science, driving Ravio's ambition to evolve from a European leader to a globally recognized, category-defining platform.
• • Ravio is fundamentally a data company, and your leadership will be central to our success. You will be responsible for defining and executing a comprehensive technical strategy that ensures our data platform is not only scalable and innovative but also inherently trusted and secure. • • Your primary responsibility will be to **OWN THE DATA VISION & STRATEGY**. This involves meticulously defining and executing Ravio’s data roadmap, encompassing all facets from engineering and science to governance and analytics. A key objective will be ensuring our data platform can seamlessly scale to support a rapidly growing global customer base, anticipating future needs and architectural requirements. Crucially, you will align all data initiatives directly with the overarching product strategy and core company objectives, ensuring data serves as a strategic enabler for business growth.
• • A significant part of your role will be to **BUILD & LEAD A WORLD-CLASS DATA TEAM**. You will be tasked with attracting, hiring, mentoring, and developing top-tier talent across Data Engineering, Analytics, and Data Science roles. Fostering a high-performance culture that champions ambition, accountability, and trust will be paramount. You will establish and uphold clear standards for technical excellence, comprehensive documentation, rigorous testing methodologies, and efficient CI/CD practices. Furthermore, you will serve as a key thought partner to the founders and senior leadership team, providing data-driven insights and strategic guidance.
• • You will **ARCHITECT FOR SCALE**, overseeing the continuous evolution of our data infrastructure, primarily on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). This includes ensuring all data pipelines are robust, highly observable, cost-efficient, and production-grade. You will drive significant improvements in pipeline reliability, testing frameworks, deployment workflows, and monitoring systems. Your leadership will extend to making critical architectural decisions for new product areas and spearheading 0→1 data initiatives, laying the groundwork for future innovation.
• • Ensuring **DATA QUALITY, GOVERNANCE & SECURITY** is a non-negotiable aspect of this role. You will define and implement company-wide best practices for data governance and compliance, ensuring adherence to all relevant regulations. Maintaining the highest standards for data quality, implementing robust validation processes, and ensuring clear data lineage will be essential. You will also take ownership of all security and privacy practices, particularly concerning sensitive compensation data, upholding Ravio's commitment to trust and confidentiality.
• • Finally, you will excel in **CROSS-FUNCTIONAL LEADERSHIP**. This involves forging strong partnerships with Product, Engineering, Customer Success, Operations, and Commercial teams. You will be adept at translating complex data challenges into tangible business outcomes and empowering better decision-making across the entire organization through insightful analytics and clear communication.
