As Fanvue continues its rapid expansion, the Design function emerges as a critical, high-leverage area within the company. This pivotal role is designed to significantly elevate the standard of design craft across our entire product suite, establish a world-class, scalable design system, and profoundly shape the user experience for millions of creators and fans interacting with Fanvue.
• • This is a senior leadership opportunity to define and spearhead Fanvue's design strategy, encompassing product experience, UI quality, and the development of robust design systems. You will be instrumental in setting the overall design direction, cultivating and developing a high-performing, talented design team, and fostering close collaboration with Product and Engineering to deliver impactful features that drive user activation, conversion rates, and long-term retention. A key aspect of this role will involve integrating AI into our design processes, from ideation and prototyping to iteration, enabling the team to accelerate their pace without compromising on the quality and sophistication of our user interfaces and experiences.
• • What You'll Do:
• • **Define and Execute Design Strategy:** Take full ownership of Fanvue's overarching design strategy, ensuring its alignment with business objectives and its application across all products and user touchpoints. This includes establishing a clear vision for the future of design at Fanvue.
• • **Lead Design System Development:** Spearhead the creation, implementation, and ongoing evolution of a world-class, scalable design system. Collaborate closely with the Engineering team to enhance UI consistency, accelerate development velocity, and maintain a high standard of product quality across all platforms.
• • **Elevate UI/UX Sophistication:** Drive the elevation of Fanvue's overall user interface and experience to a more sophisticated, mature, and polished standard, reflecting our position as a leading platform in the creator economy.
• • **Optimize High-Impact UX Flows:** Refine and optimize the user experience for the most critical flows that directly impact key performance indicators (KPIs). This includes enhancing creator onboarding and activation processes, improving fan conversion funnels, and streamlining checkout-adjacent experiences.
• • **Integrate AI into User Experiences:** Define and champion how AI-powered features are experienced by our users. Ensure these features are intuitive, human-centered, and deliver genuine, tangible value, making complex AI capabilities accessible and beneficial.
• • **Embed AI in Design Workflows:** Proactively embed AI tools and methodologies into the design and prototyping workflow. The goal is to significantly increase iteration speed and efficiency, allowing the design team to explore more possibilities and deliver solutions faster.
• • **Shape Product Vision (Fanvue 3.0):** Contribute significantly to shaping the future product vision for Fanvue 3.0. Bring forward and develop innovative, future-facing concepts that will define the next generation of creator monetization tools.
• • **Build and Scale the Design Team:** Recruit, mentor, and scale a high-performing, diverse, and motivated design team. Foster a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and excellence within the team.
• • **Cross-Functional Collaboration:** Forge strong partnerships with Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing teams. Ensure seamless alignment between design initiatives and broader business goals, driving cohesive product development.
• • **Lead by Example:** Act as a hands-on contributor on key design initiatives. Set a high benchmark for design craft, usability, and strategic thinking, inspiring the team through your own work and approach.
• • **Champion User-Centricity:** Instill a deep sense of user empathy across the design function, ensuring that all design decisions are grounded in a thorough understanding of user needs and behaviors.
