- • Own the end-to-end AI and automation agenda across the Group’s finance function, transforming it from a collection of live experiments into the standard operating model.
- • Lead the redesign of core finance processes — including close, reporting, and forecasting — using AI agents rather than automating legacy workflows.
- • Directly manage and grow a team of three, while remaining deeply hands-on in building, testing, and deploying AI agents and system integrations.
- • Build and ship automation solutions using AI-assisted tools to connect systems such as NetSuite, Rossum, and n8n, without requiring software engineering expertise.
- • Establish clear baselines, owners, and deadlines for every workstream, and report measurable outcomes including automation rate, close time, cash allocation speed, and cost reduction.
- • Scale the existing AI programme across five markets, balancing local operational realities with a unified Group standard.
- • Drive AI fluency across finance and the Shared Services Centre, ensuring teams can effectively use, maintain, and extend the automation tools you build.
- • Work directly with the Group CFO with minimal bureaucracy, enabling rapid decision-making and immediate implementation of high-impact ideas.
- • Track and communicate the real-world impact of automation on finance operations, focusing on efficiency gains, reduced manual effort, and improved cash flow.
- • Identify and prioritize automation opportunities in procure-to-pay, order-to-cash, and shared services, ensuring each initiative delivers measurable value.
- • Act as the bridge between finance, technology, and operations, translating business needs into technical solutions and gaining buy-in across departments.
- • Maintain a bias for action: prioritize speed and impact over perfection, delivering functional solutions quickly and iterating based on real-world feedback.
- • Ensure all automation initiatives are aligned with the Group’s broader goals, including readiness for IPO.
- • Continuously evaluate new AI tools and techniques to improve agent performance, system integration, and process efficiency.
- • Communicate progress and results clearly to leadership and stakeholders, using data to demonstrate ROI and operational transformation.
- • Foster a culture of ownership and accountability within the finance team, encouraging others to propose, test, and adopt automation solutions.
- • Maintain direct involvement in the technical execution — including configuring AI agents and connecting APIs — even while leading strategic direction.
- • Balance centralized standardization with local market adaptability, ensuring automation solutions work effectively across diverse operational environments.
🎯 Requirements
- • Proven track record of leading transformation or automation programmes that delivered measurable results
- • Hands-on experience building AI agents and integrating systems via APIs using AI-assisted tools (not requiring software engineering skills)
- • Strong understanding of finance functions (procure-to-pay, order-to-cash, close, reporting, forecasting) or ability to learn rapidly
- • Ability to lead a small team while remaining deeply involved in execution
- • Strong bias for action, prioritizing impact and speed over perfection
- • Fluent in English
