📋 Description

• As Head of Institutions at Morpho Inc., you will own the mission to establish Morpho as the credit network of choice for global institutions by building and scaling the institutional go-to-market motion from the ground up.
• Day to day, you will develop and execute institutional growth strategy, build and manage a pipeline of high-value prospects, serve as a trusted advisor to executives and product teams at major financial institutions, personally close strategic deals, and feed market intelligence back into product and engineering.
• Morpho is a leading DeFi lending protocol backed by top-tier investors including a16z, Paradigm, and Coinbase, with over $10 billion in deposits and adoption by major industry players like Binance, Kraken, and Apollo, now scaling to become the open credit network for the world.
• In this role, you will learn to navigate the intersection of traditional finance and decentralized protocols, shape product roadmap through institutional insights, and establish a repeatable GTM framework that accelerates global adoption of on-chain lending.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years in business development with a proven track record sourcing and closing complex, high-value commercial relationships in TradFi, fintech, or crypto
• At least 2 years of experience inside a large traditional financial institution (capital markets, asset management, banking, or similar)
• Crypto native: active, hands-on user of on-chain protocols, not just an observer
• Technical and product-minded with deep financial-markets and regulatory knowledge and corporate fluency to operate credibly inside large institutions
• Strong understanding of how institutions evaluate new infrastructure providers, with credibility across executives, investors, product leaders, and risk stakeholders
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills to independently source and close complex, multi-stakeholder deals without an established playbook
