📋 Description

• As Head of IT at TensorWave, you will build and own the corporate IT function from the ground up, reporting to the VP of Operations, and play a critical role in enabling the company’s mission to deliver seamless, secure, and resilient AI compute at scale.
• You will manage corporate infrastructure including networks, identity management (SSO, directory services), device management (Mac, Windows, Linux), cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), and the SaaS stack, while leading security and compliance efforts for SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR, and export controls.
• You will join a fast-moving AI infrastructure company where you’ll collaborate closely with engineering teams running GPU clusters across multiple data centers, shaping IT strategy that supports both corporate operations and customer-facing infrastructure.
• You will have the opportunity to build and develop an IT team, define career progression paths, mentor technical staff, and establish a scalable IT operating model aligned with business growth.

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years of IT infrastructure and operations experience, with 5+ years in a leadership or management role
• Demonstrated expertise in IT service management, security frameworks, and compliance (SOC 2, ISO 27001, or equivalent)
• Strong technical foundation across network administration, systems engineering, identity management (Active Directory, Okta, etc.), and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Experience scaling IT operations at rapidly growing organizations, including hiring IT teams from the ground up
• Proven success negotiating vendor contracts, managing IT budgets, and optimizing technology spend
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders
