- • Own end-to-end corporate IT operations for a fast-growing, engineering-heavy company with distributed teams across the US and India, ensuring seamless support for 100+ employees.
- • Design and manage streamlined onboarding and offboarding workflows using Rippling IT, ensuring consistent provisioning and deprovisioning of devices, access, and accounts across all systems.
- • Lead device lifecycle management for mixed Mac and Windows fleets, including procurement, inventory tracking, asset labeling, and scheduled hardware refreshes to maintain performance and control costs.
- • Run day-to-day IT helpdesk operations, including incident resolution, escalation management, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement of service delivery for a global workforce.
- • Establish and enforce IT policies, standards, and service level agreements (SLAs) tailored to a hybrid US-India operating model, balancing speed, security, and compliance.
- • Lead corporate collaboration tool migrations, including Google Workspace and Slack transitions, using specialist partners to ensure minimal disruption, comprehensive change management, and user adoption.
- • Evaluate, select, and implement AI security tooling and governance frameworks to mitigate emerging risks associated with enterprise AI adoption, in close partnership with the Security team.
- • Manage identity and access administration across Microsoft Entra ID and Google Workspace, including role-based access controls, multi-factor authentication (MFA), privileged access workflows, and access reviews.
- • Own endpoint management using Intune or equivalent MDM solutions, enforcing secure device configurations, endpoint hygiene, and secure remote access protocols across all corporate devices.
- • Oversee vendor selection, contract negotiation, and performance management for MSPs, migration specialists, and SaaS providers, with clear SOWs, KPIs, and accountability mechanisms.
- • Optimize licensing strategy and cost controls for Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Microsoft Defender, and other SaaS tools, eliminating bloat and preventing overspending through usage audits and right-sizing.
- • Partner closely with Security and Compliance teams to ensure IT operations support ISO/SOC-style controls, maintain audit readiness, and generate required evidence for third-party assessments.
- • Reduce risk from third-party access, shadow IT, and unmanaged tools by implementing governance, monitoring, and enforcement protocols aligned with company security standards.
- • Build scalable, automated processes that support rapid growth without introducing bureaucracy, prioritizing efficiency, clarity, and operational reliability.
- • Serve as the primary escalation point for IT issues, demonstrating high ownership, service-oriented mindset, and ability to communicate technical requirements to executives and non-technical stakeholders.
- • Maintain accurate and up-to-date asset records, aligning hardware refresh cycles with business needs, budget constraints, and security requirements for both US and India-based employees.
- • Ensure all IT systems are configured with secure defaults, comply with internal and external compliance standards, and enable seamless remote and hybrid work across time zones.
- • Drive continuous improvement in IT service delivery through data-driven insights, user feedback, and proactive incident prevention strategies.
- • Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Security, and People teams to align IT priorities with company growth objectives and technical infrastructure needs.
- • Maintain a pragmatic, cost-aware approach to IT decision-making, favoring vendor partnerships and automation over manual work while ensuring zero compromise on security or compliance.
🎯 Requirements
- • 10+ years of progressive IT experience, including ownership of corporate IT in a scaling environment
- • Proven hands-on experience managing Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace administration
- • Strong expertise in Entra ID (Azure AD), endpoint management via Intune or equivalent MDM, and mixed Mac + Windows environments
- • Demonstrated experience with Rippling IT or similar HR/IT automation platforms
- • Proven ability to manage vendors and MSPs with clear SOWs, KPIs, and performance accountability
- • Strong communication skills with both executives and technical teams
