📋 Description

• As Head of Product at Orca Security Ltd., you will own the full product function — including roadmap, team, and product portfolio — reporting directly to the CEO and serving as a strategic thought partner in shaping the future of finance through the intersection of traditional finance and decentralized finance.
• You will partner with the CEO on product strategy, challenge assumptions, and translate vision into a prioritized roadmap with clear success criteria, while owning the portfolio of product initiatives by deciding what to start, what to kill, and managing trade-offs across current work and future bets.
• You will lead and develop a team of product managers, designers, and UX researchers, with full accountability for hiring, coaching, performance, and setting team standards for how work is done, decisions are captured, and context is shared across functions.
• You will drive cross-functional execution with Engineering, Business Development, Design, and Marketing, define and implement product operating standards, and actively engage in details when needed to ensure outcomes over outputs.
• You will define, track, and report on product KPIs tied to business objectives, champion a data-driven culture, and act as the voice of the customer and market by synthesizing qualitative and quantitative insights into product decisions.
• You will bring 5–10+ years of product management experience, including 2+ years managing teams across product, design, and research, with a proven track record of shipping products that drove significant revenue or user growth and a deep mastery of product discovery, validation, PRD writing, and ruthless prioritization based on impact versus effort.
• You will have a background in traditional finance or regulated asset markets (private markets, capital markets, or institutional fintech), with preferred fluency in DeFi/crypto and a genuine interest in how TradFi and on-chain infrastructure will converge.
• You will possess technical depth to engage in engineering conversations, understand protocol-level tradeoffs, earn the respect of engineering teams, and actively integrate AI into your workflow with a clear perspective on how AI transforms product team operations.
• Orca offers a competitive compensation package including $225,000–$250,000 in USDC salary and $175,000–$200,000 in ORCA token allocation over four years for U.S. employees, along with opportunities to learn Solana DeFi, flexible work arrangements, home and wellness stipends, global co-working opportunities, remote or New York office flexibility, and paid subscriptions to productivity tools like GitHub Copilot and ChatGPT.

🎯 Requirements

• 5–10+ years of product management experience with at least 2 years managing teams across product management, design, and research
• Proven track record of shipping products that drove significant revenue and/or user growth, owning outcomes beyond just roadmaps
• Deep background in traditional finance or regulated asset markets (private markets, capital markets, or institutional fintech)
• Technical depth to engage in engineering conversations, understand protocol-level tradeoffs, and earn respect from engineering teams
• Ability to actively integrate AI into workflow and articulate its impact on product team operations
• DeFi/crypto fluency is preferred but not required
