- • As Head of Product for Developer Experience at Adyen, you will define and champion the product vision and strategy for Adyen’s developer platform in an AI-native world, ensuring it remains the foundation for thousands of businesses building payment and financial systems.
- • You will own the end-to-end developer journey, including API/webhook design, SDKs, documentation, sandbox environments, and identity & access management, while leading a team of product managers and tech writers to execute the roadmap.
- • You will work cross-functionally with Engineering, Design, Developer Relations, and Marketing to deliver high-quality products, drive adoption, and ensure Adyen provides a world-class, intuitive, and powerful platform for builders.
- • You will engage deeply with customers and the developer community to understand needs, gather insights, and translate them into impactful products, while mentoring a high-performing team and connecting strategic vision to measurable outcomes in fintech and payments.
🎯 Requirements
- • 15+ years of experience in technology, with at least 8 years in a product leadership role (e.g., Director, VP, or Head of Product)
- • Proven track record leading product for a successful, large-scale developer platform, API, or SDK product at a top-tier technology company
- • Demonstratable experience leading AI-powered product initiatives, with native thinking on how AI transforms the developer experience (e.g., AI agents, copilots)
- • Strong technical background, comfortable engaging with senior engineering leaders on complex system architecture and API design decisions; engineering background a plus
- • Deep empathy for the developer journey, obsessed with understanding builder needs and challenges
- • Strategic thinker who can connect high-level vision to tangible, measurable roadmap and inspire teams to execute; fintech or payments experience highly desirable
