📋 Description

• As Head of Security & Compliance at Masabi Ltd, you will own security and compliance end to end, shaping how the company approaches trust, risk, and regulatory adherence as a global SaaS provider powering fare payment systems for millions of riders worldwide.
• You will lead a small team, assess current security posture, define and implement practical security and compliance requirements, manage audits across PCI DSS, ISO27001, SOC2, and Cyber Essentials, and drive initiatives for newer standards like ISO 27017 and 27018 while embedding security into engineering and product workflows.
• You will work closely with Engineering, Product, and Legal teams to translate requirements into action, maintain risk visibility, build scalable customer assurance processes, and guide strategic decisions on which compliance standards to adopt as the company scales.
• In this role, you will deepen your expertise in regulated environments, strengthen your ability to lead cross-functional initiatives without direct authority, and evolve from hands-on execution to building a structured, scalable security function that supports long-term business growth and innovation.
