📋 Description

• Head of Studio — AI Vertical Drama (Full Remote - USA) is a creative leadership role responsible for launching and scaling a new short-form drama studio powered by EverAI’s proprietary AI production stack, reporting directly to the CEO and CTO.
• Day to day, the role involves owning the content slate (greenlighting, shaping, and pressure-testing 5–10 concurrent series), running the writers’ room and script review process, managing production throughput and quality, defining the production playbook, leading and growing the team of directors and writers, translating platform performance data into creative direction, and partnering with AI and tech teams to improve tooling and pipeline efficiency.
• The team at EverAI is a passionate, hardworking group of ~75 people with founding leaders who have built and scaled web products from 0 to IPO, including experience at Mad Paws Holdings, MTK Digital, Zipchat, Curatible, and SotremoSA, bringing deep expertise in tech, growth, finance, and AI.
• In this role, the person will define the creative vision and operational foundation of a new AI-driven vertical drama studio, shape category-defining content at scale, work with cutting-edge AI generation tools, and build processes from the ground up while enjoying significant autonomy and impact in a fast-moving, innovative environment.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years in short-form or episodic content, with 2–3 years in a senior leadership role (e.g., Post-Production Supervisor, Senior Lead Editor, Showrunner)
• Proven track record of scaling vertical drama at a known player with visible results in the catalog
• Experience personally shepherding multiple series from concept to launch with measurable audience performance
• Fluency across the full creative arc — from writing to post-production — not siloed into one phase
• Deep knowledge of the vertical drama playbook: genres that convert, casting logic, trailer formula, platform mechanics, and beats
• Existing relationships with directors, writers, and producers in the vertical drama ecosystem
• Hands-on experience with AI generation tools (Runway, Kling AI, Seedance, Happy Horse, etc.) and understanding of AI’s role in creative calibration for continuity
