📋 Description

• As the Head of Talent at F2 AI Inc., you will build and own the full recruiting function from strategy to close, playing a critical role in doubling headcount over the next two quarters by partnering with Finance and senior leadership to shape hiring plans, comp bands, and talent acquisition strategy.
• You will own full-cycle recruiting across engineering, product, AI, deployment, and GTM roles, build the recruiting engine from scratch (including sourcing, pipeline architecture, interview process, scorecards, candidate experience, offer process, and close strategy), and act as both a strategic talent partner and hands-on recruiter in a high-growth startup environment.
• You will join a fast-growing AI company backed by NFX and Y Combinator, transforming how private markets investors underwrite and deploy capital, with offices in New York, San Francisco, and London, and a mission to build the execution layer for private markets and finance.
• You will have the opportunity to build something from scratch, work directly with founders and senior leaders, shape the talent density and culture across three global offices, and help define what F2 becomes by bringing in the caliber of people who will drive the company’s success.

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years of recruiting experience, including meaningful time in an early-stage or high-growth startup environment
• Proven experience building a hiring function or recruiting engine from scratch, not just operating within an established system
• Track record of hiring across technical and go-to-market roles, including software engineering, product, AI, sales, and customer-facing positions
• Fluency in NYC and SF talent markets with deep understanding of competitive engineering and AI recruiting landscapes
• Strong analytical skills with comfort in headcount planning, recruiting funnels, comp calibration, and basic recruiting finance
• Highly commercial mindset: ability to build candidate narratives, sell the company, handle objections, and close top talent
