- • Lead and scale the technical recruiting function at Zip, an AI-powered enterprise procurement platform trusted by major companies like T-Mobile, OpenAI, and AMD, to hire exceptional talent across Engineering, Product, Data, and Design as the company grows.
- • Manage, coach, and grow a team of technical recruiters and sourcers; set performance expectations, run regular 1:1s, create development paths, and build a recruiting culture focused on rigor, candidate experience, and operational excellence.
- • Partner with Engineering, Product, Data, and Design leaders to understand hiring needs, define and improve end-to-end hiring processes, drive structured interview practices to reduce bias, and manage the recruiting tech stack including ATS and sourcing tools.
- • Strengthen Zip’s reputation as a top technical employer by collaborating with Marketing and People teams, building relationships with universities and technical communities, and ensuring every candidate has a positive experience regardless of outcome.
🎯 Requirements
- • 8+ years of recruiting experience, with at least 4 years leading a technical recruiting team at a fast-growing technology company
- • Proven track record of scaling a technical recruiting function — improving quality, speed, and team capability — not just maintaining it
- • Deep experience hiring across software engineering disciplines (backend, frontend, infrastructure, ML/AI) and ability to evaluate technical pipelines with nuance
- • Strong people leadership skills: hired, developed, and retained recruiters; knows what makes a high-performing team tick
- • Data fluency: uses metrics to identify problems, track progress, and make the case for investment
- • Excellent communication and executive presence: able to engage VPs of Engineering and candidates weighing multiple offers
