- • The Head of Value Attainment will spearhead the function responsible for substantiating and scaling Ambience's clinical and financial impact. This pivotal role involves establishing the infrastructure, methodology, and team necessary to operationalize value measurement across diverse care settings. The objective is to transform ad-hoc analyses into a robust, repeatable, and defensible measurement system that can be consistently applied across our entire enterprise customer base.
- • This Director/Senior Director level position requires defining how impact is measured, translating these requirements into detailed specifications for engineering and data teams, and owning the automation roadmap to scale these efforts. A key aspect of this role is serving as the analytical core for commercial teams, assisting in deal structuring, presenting our value measurement methodology to senior health system executives, and building the team and operating model from the ground up.
- • **Key Responsibilities Include:**
- • **Establish a Scalable Value Measurement System:** Transition Ambience from bespoke customer analyses to a standardized, repeatable measurement framework. This includes developing documented methodologies, defining standardized data specifications, and creating reusable pro forma models that allow for rapid customer configuration without the need to reinvent analytical frameworks.
- • **Define Precise and Defensible Metrics:** Develop clear, calculable metrics across core impact areas, ensuring the logic is sound and can withstand scrutiny from sophisticated health system stakeholders.
- • **Support Performance-Based Contracts:** Build the financial models, measurement frameworks, and operational guardrails essential for structuring and monitoring performance-based and outcomes-linked contracts across various customer profiles.
- • **Drive Automation and Scalability:** Significantly reduce manual analysis by developing productized pipelines and leveraging AI-assisted tooling, working in close collaboration with Engineering, Product, and Data teams.
- • **Develop Cross-Customer Benchmarking:** Create and maintain comparative analyses across different customers to inform commercial strategy and enhance the value proposition for the entire enterprise portfolio.
- • **Serve as an External-Facing SME:** Act as a subject matter expert in customer and prospect calls, presenting our methodology to senior Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) and finance audiences, and confidently defending our approach and attribution models.
- • **Build and Lead the Value Attainment Team:** Define the optimal team structure, recruit and develop senior analytical talent, establish a clear operating cadence, and create a sustainable operating model with matrixed support from data teams.
- • **Integrate Measurement into Product Lifecycle:** Partner closely with the Product team to define how value will be measured for new capabilities and care settings early in the development process, ensuring measurement is considered from inception.
- • **Player-Coach Dynamic:** Embrace a hands-on approach, contributing to analyses and writing specifications while simultaneously building and leading the team. This role begins with significant individual contribution and evolves into full team leadership.
- • **Cross-Functional Collaboration:** Work effectively with Data, Engineering, Product, and Commercial teams in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- • **Executive Communication:** Clearly articulate complex data, methodology, and analysis results to senior executives, handling pushback and earning credibility with domain experts.
