- • The Healthcare Collections Analyst plays a critical role in processing medical insurance claim overpayments identified through Lyric’s data mining efforts, ensuring accurate recovery of funds and supporting the company’s mission to reduce waste in the healthcare ecosystem.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include processing overpayments (posting provider refunds, adjustments, offsets), preparing notification letters, conducting outbound calls to healthcare providers to request payment recovery, reviewing claims for missing or incomplete information, calculating payments, validating overpayments, maintaining productivity standards, and collaborating with internal teams to resolve discrepancies.

- • In this role, the individual will develop expertise in healthcare claims operations, medical billing, insurance reimbursement processes, and regulatory compliance. They will gain hands-on experience with data validation, client-specific policies, and collections workflows while contributing to process improvements and audit concept enhancements that drive better financial outcomes for clients.
🎯 Requirements
- • Minimum of one (1) year experience in administration support or data entry
- • High school diploma
- • One (1) year experience in healthcare claims operations environment (preferred)
- • College degree in a role-related field (preferred)
- • Excellent verbal and written communication skills (preferred)
- • Strong MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) (preferred)
