đź“‹ Description
- • HomeVision is at the forefront of revolutionizing the $13 trillion mortgage industry by developing next-generation AI-powered software. Our flagship platform, MIRA (Machine Intelligence Review Assistant), is designed to automate intricate document processing and underwriting tasks. This automation significantly accelerates the loan closing process for lenders, reducing friction and ultimately saving borrowers valuable time, money, and stress. We have already made a substantial impact by transforming appraisal operations for leading lenders, achieving over a 75% reduction in review times. Our ambitious vision now extends to expanding MIRA's capabilities across the entire loan file, automating the analysis of income, assets, and credit to establish a comprehensive underwriting utility for the entire industry.
- • At HomeVision, we foster a collaborative environment where hungry, smart, curious, and kind individuals thrive on tackling complex challenges and embracing genuine responsibility. Our engineers are empowered to own significant projects from inception through deployment, working in close partnership with product, design, and go-to-market teams. We deeply value a low-ego, high-ownership culture, prioritizing clear communication and mutual respect for each other's time. Our guiding principle is to "do the loving thing" in all our interactions, both internally with colleagues and externally with our customers and partners.
- • As a Staff Full-Stack Software Engineer, you will be an integral part of our core product team based in Argentina. You will collaborate directly with our founders, designers, and Machine Learning engineers to construct the critical interfaces and underlying infrastructure that power MIRA. This is a dynamic role focused on innovation, not maintenance; you will be instrumental in architecting and building new features that enable users to intuitively understand and effectively act upon complex AI-driven decisions.
- • Your day-to-day responsibilities will encompass shipping product features end-to-end, taking ownership from the database schema design through to the implementation of UI components. You will be responsible for building the user interfaces that underwriters utilize to interact with our advanced AI, transforming complex data into intuitive and actionable insights.
- • You will play a key role in architecting for scale, designing and implementing robust, resilient solutions capable of handling vast amounts of complex loan file data. This includes ensuring high availability and maintaining low latency as our platform scales to process millions of documents.
- • A significant aspect of your role will involve bridging the gap between AI and user application. You will work closely with our Machine Learning team to seamlessly integrate AI services into our core SaaS platform, ensuring smooth and efficient handoffs between our sophisticated decisioning models and the user-facing application.
- • Furthermore, you will contribute to elevating our engineering culture by championing effective development practices and advocating for the adoption of new AI-powered tools. Your efforts will be crucial in increasing our development velocity and enhancing the overall stability of our production environment.
- • This role offers a unique opportunity to gain deep insights into the intersection of AI, FinTech, and complex workflow automation. You will have the chance to architect and implement solutions that directly impact the efficiency and effectiveness of the mortgage industry, working with cutting-edge technologies and a talented, driven team.
- • You will learn to navigate the intricacies of building scalable, AI-driven SaaS platforms within a rapidly growing startup environment. The experience gained in end-to-end feature ownership, complex system design, and cross-functional collaboration will be invaluable for your career growth, particularly in areas of distributed systems, cloud-native architectures, and product development.
- • By contributing to HomeVision, you will be part of a mission-driven company that is making a tangible difference in a massive industry, improving the experience for both lenders and borrowers. Your work will directly influence the future of mortgage technology and AI adoption in financial services.
