  • • Serve as a generalist HR Advisor supporting the HR Business Partner and wider HR team across all areas of human resources, with no two days being the same.
  • • Provide expert guidance to managers on employee relations matters, including complex cases that may lead to dismissal, ensuring compliance with best practices and legislation.
  • • Collaborate with people managers to enhance their capability in managing employee relations effectively and proactively resolving workplace issues.
  • • Innovate and refine HR policies and processes to align with Allica Bank’s vision and ensure they are practical, compliant, and employee-centric.
  • • Respond to and resolve employee queries regarding HR policies, procedures, and workplace entitlements across the organisation.
  • • Partner with the HR Business Partner to design, implement, and evaluate learning and talent development initiatives that drive employee growth and organisational performance.
  • • Work closely with managers to identify talent and development needs and deliver tailored solutions that support business objectives.
  • • Support the annual reward and bonus cycle in collaboration with HR Business Partners and HR Operations, ensuring timely and accurate execution.
  • • Benchmark rewards and benefits against market trends to recommend enhancements that improve Allica’s competitiveness and employee satisfaction.
  • • Contribute to policy development by ensuring alignment with current legislation and industry best practices.
  • • Utilise HR data to generate insightful reports and dashboards that inform decision-making and measure HR effectiveness.
  • • Partner with the HR Operations team to ensure seamless delivery of HR processes and systems across the business.
  • • Design and deliver training programmes to support the rollout and adoption of new HR processes and policies.
  • • Build trusted relationships with stakeholders across all levels of the organisation to drive employee engagement and foster a positive workplace culture.
  • • Support initiatives to enhance diversity, equity, and inclusion across Allica Bank, ensuring all colleagues feel valued and included.
  • • Act as a pragmatic, diplomatic, and calm point of contact during high-pressure periods, maintaining professionalism and clarity.
  • • Demonstrate strong commercial awareness of how HR strategies directly support business goals and operational success.
  • • Plan and prioritise work proactively to deliver timely HR support to multiple functional areas and stakeholders.
  • • Maintain intermediate Excel proficiency to analyse data, identify trends, and make evidence-based recommendations.
  • • Embrace curiosity and a continuous improvement mindset to evolve HR practices and enhance the employee experience.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Proven experience in managing employee relations cases, including those with potential dismissal outcomes
  • • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver against deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • • Strong knowledge of UK employment law and best practices in employee relations
  • • Intermediate Excel skills with ability to use data to inform HR decisions
  • • Experience working in a fintech or banking environment (advantageous)
  • • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to influence at all levels of the organisation
