- • As a pivotal HR Business Partner (HRBP) at Virta Health, you will be instrumental in cultivating an exceptional employee experience, championing a high-performance culture, and nurturing the development of strong, effective leaders across our organization. This role is designed for an HR professional eager to make a significant impact by partnering closely with managers and leaders, equipping them with the essential tools, insightful guidance, and unwavering support required to lead high-impact teams. You will also play a key role in driving initiatives that foster a deep sense of connection, pride, and an environment where every Virtan can achieve their best work. If you are passionate about advancing your HR career and contributing meaningfully to a mission-driven company, this is an unparalleled opportunity.
- • Your primary focus will be serving as the dedicated HR Business Partner for our dynamic Product Development teams, encompassing Product Management, Engineering, Information Security, and IT. Additionally, you will extend your expertise to support our vital General & Administrative (G&A) functions. This dual focus ensures a broad and impactful reach across critical areas of the business.
- • You will provide strategic HR support by forging strong partnerships with leaders in your assigned business units. This involves deeply understanding their strategic goals, challenges, and aspirations, and then translating those insights into actionable HR solutions that are precisely aligned with and contribute to achieving overarching business objectives. Your role will be to proactively identify opportunities where HR can drive business success.
- • A core responsibility is to advise and coach managers, acting as a trusted advisor. You will guide leaders in proactively managing their teams, offering expert counsel on performance management, career development, navigating complex workplace issues, and fostering positive team dynamics. Your support will empower managers to lead with confidence and effectiveness.
- • You will be a key player in Employee Relations & Engagement, serving as a primary point of contact for employees. This involves addressing concerns with empathy and efficiency, resolving workplace issues with fairness and discretion, and actively driving engagement initiatives. Your efforts will be crucial in fostering and maintaining a positive, inclusive, and productive work culture where employees feel valued and heard.
- • In Talent & Performance Development, you will support the entire performance management lifecycle, including goal-setting, continuous feedback, and coaching. You will also be responsible for identifying critical training needs within your business units and collaborating closely with the broader HRBP and Employee Experience teams to design and implement effective learning and development solutions.
- • A significant aspect of your role will involve Manager Training & Development. You will take the lead in building and delivering targeted training sessions. These sessions will be designed to complement Virta’s existing leadership development programming, specifically enhancing managers' skills, knowledge, and confidence in critical HR and leadership competencies.
- • You will contribute to HR Operations & Policy Support by assisting the wider HRBP team. This includes supporting communications related to HR initiatives, contributing to the development and refinement of HR policies, and creating training materials to ensure the smooth and effective implementation of new HR programs and processes across the organization.
- • Through Organizational Insights & Action, you will actively support employee feedback initiatives, such as surveys and focus groups. You will monitor key workplace trends, analyze data, and recommend data-driven strategies to continuously improve our company culture, enhance team effectiveness, and drive overall organizational health.
- • Within your first 90 days, you will immerse yourself in the business by meeting with key business unit leaders to gain a comprehensive understanding of their objectives, conduct thorough HR needs assessments, and begin providing aligned, impactful HR support. You will also identify immediate training needs, actively support performance management processes, and deliver initial targeted manager training sessions. Furthermore, you will establish yourself as a trusted contact for employees and leaders, adeptly addressing concerns and championing engagement initiatives. Crucially, you will begin guiding managers through performance, employee relations, and various workplace issues, laying the groundwork for enhanced team effectiveness and a thriving work environment.
- • Virta Health is committed to reversing metabolic disease, and as an HRBP, you will be a vital contributor to this mission by ensuring our people and culture are world-class, enabling our teams to deliver on this ambitious goal. You will operate within a values-driven culture that prioritizes people, ownership, positive impact, collaboration, transparency, evidence-based decision-making, and calculated risk-taking.
