- • Serve as a strategic HR Business Partner to Tech teams across EMEA, supporting leadership in talent development, employee relations, engagement, and performance management.
- • Act as a trusted sparring partner for team leads and managers on all people-related matters, including team growth, structure, and organizational development.
- • Coach and advise business leaders on local HR processes, ensuring alignment with company policies while addressing region-specific needs in the Netherlands and broader Europe.
- • Collaborate with global HR Centers of Expertise to design, enhance, and implement people initiatives that improve the employee experience and support scaling operations.
- • Leverage workforce data to identify trends, diagnose people-related challenges, and drive data-informed decisions around retention, performance, and engagement.
- • Own and facilitate the performance assessment cycle, guiding managers through growth conversations and providing support in under-performance and feedback discussions.
- • Champion Adyen’s core values by helping leaders integrate them into daily decision-making and team culture.
- • Promote and advance diversity, equity, and inclusion across Tech teams, ensuring all employees feel supported and empowered in a high-performance environment.
- • Advocate for employees during periods of rapid growth, ensuring their development needs are met and their voices are heard at all levels of the organization.
- • Partner with local leadership to align global HR strategies with regional cultural norms and labor practices, ensuring seamless implementation.
- • Challenge existing norms and co-create innovative solutions with managers to solve persistent people challenges, always seeking simpler or more automated approaches.
- • Maintain deep expertise in Dutch and European labor legislation to ensure compliance and provide accurate guidance on employment matters.
- • Operate with a hands-on mindset while prioritizing effectively, balancing reactive support with proactive strategic initiatives.
- • Embrace a “build as you go” mentality, adapting quickly to evolving business needs and driving change in a fast-paced, high-growth technology environment.
🎯 Requirements
- • 4+ years of experience as an HR Business Partner in a high-paced company, working directly with managers and leaders
- • Deep expertise in Dutch and European labor legislation
- • Proven ability to build trust quickly and serve as a trusted advisor across organizational levels
- • Strong ability to challenge the status quo and co-create solutions with leaders to solve complex people issues
- • Experience using workforce data to drive HR initiatives and improve employee outcomes
- • Ability to execute global HR strategies while adapting to local cultural and legal contexts
