- • As an HR Generalist, you will be instrumental in supporting and executing core people operations, directly contributing to the strengthening of our HR infrastructure and ensuring a seamless employee experience as we continue our impressive growth trajectory. Reporting directly to the Head of People, this role offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on our company culture, employee development, and overall operational efficiency. You will be a key player in fostering a positive, accountable, and collaborative work environment that aligns with our core company values.
- • Your responsibilities will encompass the entire employee lifecycle, starting with the creation, management, and continuous improvement of our onboarding programs and materials. You will own the end-to-end onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring that every new team member has a welcoming and efficient introduction to Palette Media, and that departing employees are treated with respect and professionalism. This includes developing comprehensive onboarding plans, coordinating necessary paperwork, and facilitating introductions to key team members and resources.
- • A significant part of your role will involve managing our employee benefits program. You will be the primary point of contact for all benefits-related inquiries, coordinating with external providers, and ensuring that our offerings are competitive and meet the needs of our diverse workforce. Furthermore, you will work closely with the Finance department to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing, maintaining the integrity of our compensation systems.
- • You will also play a crucial role in supporting our performance review processes and the development of effective goal-setting frameworks. This involves collaborating with leadership to implement systems that encourage continuous feedback, recognize achievements, and support professional growth. By helping to maintain clear role definitions and growth paths, you will empower our employees to understand their career trajectories within Palette Media and identify opportunities for advancement.
- • In addition to these core HR functions, you will contribute significantly to our internal communication and engagement initiatives. This includes helping to disseminate important company updates, fostering a sense of community, and supporting events and programs designed to enhance employee morale and connection. 🎯 Requirements
- • Minimum of 3 years of progressive HR experience, with a strong preference for experience within a startup, agency, media, or entertainment industry setting.
- • Proven experience in supporting a diverse workforce, including both full-time employees and independent contractors, understanding the nuances of each employment type.
- • Demonstrated strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make informed recommendations for HR initiatives.
- • Exceptional discretion, high emotional intelligence, and outstanding verbal and written communication skills, essential for handling sensitive information and fostering positive employee relations.
