- • Serve as the dedicated HR lead for pharmacy and warehouse operations across Felix Health’s network, currently supporting sites in Mississauga, ON and Port Coquitlam, BC, with future expansion to additional locations.
- • Act as the primary HR contact for employees and managers in pharmacy and warehouse teams, providing day-to-day support on employee relations, performance management, and people decisions.
- • Own end-to-end employee relations cases including investigations, conflict resolution, performance improvement plans, and terminations, ensuring thorough documentation and compliance.
- • Coach pharmacy and warehouse leaders on effective people practices, including performance feedback, development planning, and disciplinary actions.
- • Build and maintain trusted relationships with teams in Mississauga through in-person presence (up to 3 days/week) and via virtual engagement and periodic site visits to Port Coquitlam and future locations.
- • Implement, communicate, and enforce HR policies consistently across all sites, ensuring alignment with provincial employment legislation in Ontario and British Columbia, with the ability to extend to other provinces.
- • Maintain awareness of provincial College requirements for licensed pharmacy roles, including licensure, scope of practice, and regulatory compliance.
- • Serve as an active member of the Joint Health and Safety Committee (JHSC) at each site, collaborating with Health Compliance on warehouse-specific safety issues such as ergonomics, material handling, and equipment training.
- • Identify gaps in HR policies and develop, pilot, and roll out solutions to improve compliance and employee experience.
- • Manage full-cycle recruitment for pharmacy roles (Pharmacists, Pharmacy Technicians, Pharmacy Assistants) and warehouse roles (Shippers, Leads, Inventory), including high-volume hourly hiring during peak shipping periods.
- • Lead weekend and after-hours interviews to accommodate operational schedules and meet recruitment demands.
- • Partner with pharmacy and warehouse leaders to forecast hiring needs based on shipping volume and operational timelines.
- • Source licensed pharmacy talent through outbound outreach, referrals, and industry networks, with a working knowledge of provincial licensure differences.
- • Build local talent pipelines for warehouse roles through community partnerships, job boards, and referral programs.
- • Deliver a seamless candidate experience from initial outreach through offer acceptance, ensuring compliance with provincial employment standards.
- • Prepare and issue accurate, legally compliant employment agreements tailored to each province’s requirements.
- • Administer recruitment workflows in Ashby, including job postings, candidate tracking, and reporting.
- • Partner with HR and Pharmacy Operations teams on onboarding, offboarding, benefits administration, and employee data management across all sites.
- • Maintain zero-error standards for employee data in BambooHR and ensure data integrity across all HR systems.
- • Support cyclical HR programs including performance reviews, engagement surveys, and compensation cycles for pharmacy and warehouse teams.
- • Collaborate with HR Business Partners to ensure consistent policy application, program delivery, and employee experience across the business and across provinces.
- • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned to support the evolving needs of a fast-growing consumer brand with physical operations.
