- • As an HR Specialist at WA Technology, you will support the setup and day-to-day HR operations in Romania, ensuring processes run smoothly and compliantly while acting as a reliable point of contact for the Romanian team.
- • You will maintain and improve HR processes including contracts, onboarding, payroll inputs, and employee data to ensure consistency, accuracy, and clean data flows between HR, payroll, and finance.
- • You will identify inefficiencies in current processes and propose practical improvements, supporting alignment of local HR practices with company standards while adapting to Romanian requirements.
- • You will work in a hybrid environment across WA Technology’s global offices in Malta, Lisbon, Sofia, London, and Bucharest, contributing to a fast-paced, growth-driven iGaming technology company with a start-up feel and a commitment to innovation and inclusivity.
- • You will gain hands-on experience in international HR operations, deepen your expertise in Romanian employment law and payroll processes, and develop skills in process optimization and cross-functional collaboration within a SaaS and tech-driven environment.
🎯 Requirements
- • +4 years of experience in HR Operations or HR Specialist roles
- • Strong knowledge of Romanian employment law (contracts, amendments, terminations)
- • Solid understanding of payroll processes (inputs, validations, common errors)
- • Experience working with payroll providers or internal payroll teams
- • Experience managing or supporting hiring processes end-to-end
- • Experience handling employee lifecycle processes end-to-end (onboarding, changes, exits)
- • Experience working in international or multi-country environments
- • Background in SaaS, tech, or fast-paced companies
