  • As an HRIS Manager specializing in Payroll and Absence at Church & Dwight, you will be instrumental in shaping and optimizing our Human Resources Information Systems, with a primary focus on Workday North America Payroll, Absence, and associated integrations. This pivotal role demands a strategic blend of analytical prowess, technical expertise, and a deep understanding of payroll and absence processes to enhance user experience, streamline data processing, and ensure the integrity of our HR data. You will be a key liaison between our business units, third-party vendors, and the IT department, ensuring that our systems not only meet but exceed the evolving needs of the organization.
  • Your responsibilities will encompass the entire lifecycle of HR systems, from research and design to ongoing maintenance and implementation. You will lead the charge in analyzing current processes, identifying opportunities for improvement, and architecting solutions that leverage the full capabilities of Workday. This includes a significant focus on Workday North America Payroll, Workday Payroll Integrations, and Workday Absence, ensuring seamless data flow and accurate processing.
  • A critical aspect of this role involves providing expert functional and technical guidance to our Payroll and Benefits teams. You will empower these teams by identifying and implementing system enhancements, re-engineering existing processes for greater efficiency, and managing the day-to-day maintenance of the Workday platform. Your proactive approach to roadmap planning will ensure that our HRIS strategy remains aligned with business objectives and anticipates future requirements.
  • Collaboration is at the heart of this position. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to navigate and implement critical and regulatory updates that have a direct impact on payroll processing activities. This includes staying abreast of changes in tax regulations and compliance requirements, and ensuring our systems are updated accordingly to maintain adherence and mitigate risk.
  • You will also be responsible for managing the twice-yearly Workday Release updates. This involves thorough testing, validation, and communication to ensure a smooth transition and minimal disruption to payroll operations. Your meticulous attention to detail will be paramount in identifying potential issues and implementing effective solutions.
