📋 Description
- • The HRIS Technical Project Manager is responsible for delivering end-to-end technology-focused HRIS projects by partnering with business and IT stakeholders to ensure requirements are defined, risks managed, and delivery aligns with business and technical objectives.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include managing project execution activities such as scope definition, work planning, dependency management, milestone tracking, issue resolution, facilitating Agile ceremonies, maintaining project timelines in tools like Jira or MS Project, and preparing status reports and dashboards for stakeholders.
- • The role serves as a key bridge between functional teams (HR, Finance, Operations, Compliance, Clinical) and technical delivery groups (HRIS, Infrastructure, Security, Data, Clinical apps), leading discovery, requirements gathering, and cross-functional collaboration to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- • The position offers the opportunity to lead complex HRIS implementations and integrations in a healthcare environment, develop expertise in Agile and hybrid project methodologies, and advance technical and stakeholder management skills while contributing to mission-critical HR technology initiatives.
🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years of experience managing technology-focused projects, preferably involving HRIS, ERP, enterprise systems, or regulated environments.
- • Proven ability to deliver end-to-end projects using Waterfall, Agile, or hybrid methodologies, including scope, timeline, risk, and dependency management.
- • Strong business analysis and discovery skills, with experience gathering, documenting, and translating cross-functional requirements into technical deliverables.
- • Demonstrated success collaborating with both technical and business teams, serving as a bridge between stakeholders and IT delivery teams.
- • Working knowledge of Agile delivery practices, including sprint planning, backlog management, and iterative delivery.
- • Excellent communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to lead workshops, technical discussions, and executive-level status reporting.
- • Experience using project and work management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, Smartsheet, MS Project, or similar) to track progress and report on project health.
