  • • The Human Resources Coordinator at Springer Nature Limited (operating as The Nature Conservancy) provides essential administrative support across key HR functions including employee relations, compensation, talent management, benefits, payroll, staff development, recruitment, organization development, and training, enabling smooth HR operations and personnel support across the North America Regional Office.
  • • Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing HR data reports, maintaining sensitive employee data and personnel files, processing personnel changes in Workday, coordinating onboarding and offboarding, supporting executive scheduling and project management for the Sr. HR Director, and assisting the Pacific Division Recruiter with interview coordination across time zones using Zoom and other platforms.
  • • The role sits within The Nature Conservancy’s People Team, a mission-driven organization dedicated to protecting lands and waters through science-based solutions, with a strong commitment to inclusivity, employee well-being, and fostering a workplace where individuals feel valued and belong.
  • • In this role, the individual will develop expertise in HR systems like Workday, gain experience in end-to-end recruitment coordination, build project management and executive support skills, and deepen their understanding of HR policies and procedures while contributing to meaningful conservation work.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Associate’s degree, HR professional certification, or 4 years of HR-related experience, or equivalent combination.
  • • Experience maintaining files, processing paperwork, performing data entry, and responding to employee or customer inquiries.
  • • Proficiency with MS Office software and database software, including applicant tracking systems; Workday experience is a plus.
  • • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively under pressure and tight deadlines.
  • • Basic understanding of fundamental HR concepts, processes, and services, with experience managing basic HR processes or short-term projects.
  • • Experience communicating and building relationships with diverse audiences across multiple time zones, particularly Eastern and Pacific.
