- • Own the end-to-end onboarding journey for every new hire, from sending welcome packets and e-signatures to coordinating virtual orientation sessions and ensuring Day-1 laptops, logins, and swag arrive on time—your attention to detail will set the tone for a world-class employee experience.
- • Partner with the HR Director to refresh and maintain our applicant-tracking system (ATS), crafting job descriptions, posting openings on niche and mainstream boards, screening résumés, and scheduling interviews so hiring managers can focus on selecting the best talent while you keep the funnel moving.
- • Act as the first point of contact for candidates and new hires, responding to questions about benefits, policies, and next steps with warmth and accuracy—your communication style will shape how the outside world sees Tireseasycom’s culture.
- • Build and refine a 90-day onboarding checklist that integrates learning modules, buddy introductions, and milestone check-ins; measure completion rates and iterate based on feedback to cut time-to-productivity by 20%.
- • Coordinate offboarding workflows: exit interviews, knowledge-transfer templates, equipment returns, and final payroll updates—treat every departure as a chance to gather insights that improve retention.
- • Maintain compliant employee files (digital and paper) using our HRIS; audit I-9s, EEO, and state-required documentation monthly so we stay audit-ready at all times.
- • Generate weekly recruiting metrics—time-to-fill, source-of-hire, diversity pipeline—and present findings in a concise slide deck to leadership, spotlighting trends and recommending actionable tweaks.
- • Support ad-hoc HR projects such as DEI surveys, benefits open-enrollment webinars, and employer-branding campaigns on LinkedIn and Glassdoor—your creativity will amplify our reputation as a tech innovator.
- • Schedule and facilitate virtual team-building events, lunch-and-learns, and recognition shout-outs that keep our remote culture vibrant and inclusive across time zones.
- • Shadow the Senior HR Coordinator during compensation benchmarking and performance-review cycles, gaining exposure to strategic HR pillars that most interns never see.
- • Champion our “disrupt the tire industry” ethos by suggesting at least one process improvement each month—whether it’s a new Slack bot for PTO requests or a Canva template for welcome graphics.
- • Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, CX, and Marketing to understand talent needs and translate them into compelling employer-value-proposition language for job ads and social posts.
- • Document every process you touch in Notion, creating SOPs that future interns can follow—your legacy will be a playbook that scales with our growth.
🎯 Requirements
- • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or related field
- • Available to work 5–10 hours per week, December through March, with possibility of extension
- • Demonstrated experience with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides) or Microsoft 365
- • Familiarity with an ATS or HRIS (e.g., Greenhouse, BambooHR, Workday) preferred but not required
- • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills—comfortable on Zoom, Slack, and email
- • High attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information with discretion
