Identity Engineer - SailPoint ISC

📋 Description

• • Lead the end-to-end implementation and deployment of SailPoint Identity Security Cloud (ISC) solutions for Fortune 1000 and public-sector clients across banking, healthcare, higher-education, retail, and government verticals. You will architect, configure, and harden the platform so that it enforces least-privilege access, satisfies SOX, HIPAA, PCI-DSS, and FedRAMP controls, and scales to millions of identities without performance degradation.
• • Translate complex business requirements into elegant technical designs by authoring custom rules, workflows, transforms, and policies inside SailPoint ISC. You will map entitlements, birthright roles, and separation-of-duty matrices, then automate provisioning, de-provisioning, and certification campaigns that cut manual effort by 70 % while slashing audit findings to near-zero.
• • Remediate identity-lifecycle workflow issues discovered in Active Directory forests and ServiceNow instances. Expect to debug attribute flow, correlation logic, and connector timeouts, then patch or refactor configurations so that joiner-mover-leaver events propagate in real time across on-prem and SaaS applications.
• • Automate access-request and approval processes that span Workday, ServiceNow, and dozens of downstream systems. You will build self-service catalogs, dynamic approval chains, and risk-scoring algorithms that empower business users and free IT from ticket queues.
• • Serve as the technical anchor in client workshops, sprint reviews, and steering-committee meetings. You will whiteboard solutions, defend architectural decisions, and translate IAM jargon into language executives understand, ensuring every stakeholder stays aligned and confident.
• • Produce crisp, version-controlled documentation—solution blueprints, run-books, test cases, and security-archifact packages—that enables clients to operate, extend, and audit the platform long after go-live. Your docs become the single source of truth for SOC 2 auditors and future engineering teams.
• • Mentor junior consultants and client administrators through pair-programming, lunch-and-learns, and office hours. Your guidance accelerates their SailPoint mastery and multiplies the value we deliver.
• • Champion continuous improvement by monitoring platform telemetry, harvesting lessons learned, and feeding enhancements back into IDMWORKS’ reusable accelerator library. Your innovations will be productized and deployed across our entire customer base.
• • Uphold IDMWORKS’ 20-year remote-first culture by collaborating seamlessly across US, Canadian, and Indian time zones in Slack, Zoom, and Jira. You will model asynchronous communication, transparent status updates, and inclusive decision-making that keeps our distributed team tight-knit and high-performing.
• • Occasionally jump into critical incident bridges to troubleshoot connector failures, policy mis-fires, or performance bottlenecks. Your calm, data-driven approach restores service quickly and earns client trust when stakes are highest.
