- • Shape the future of veterinary medicine by leading immunogenicity strategy for breakthrough protein therapeutics that will improve the lives of millions of companion animals and livestock worldwide.
- • Own end-to-end immunogenicity risk assessment for multiple biotherapeutic programs, translating complex immunological data into clear, actionable insights that guide critical go/no-go decisions and regulatory submissions.
- • Partner with bioanalytical scientists to design, validate, and troubleshoot anti-drug antibody (ADA) and neutralizing antibody (NAb) assays, ensuring every method meets the highest scientific and regulatory standards.
- • Serve as the immunogenicity subject-matter expert for pre-clinical safety and clinical study teams, advising on sampling schedules, assay selection, data interpretation, and clinical impact assessment to safeguard animal health and product success.
- • Distill large, multidimensional immunogenicity datasets into concise, compelling narratives for project teams, senior management, and global regulatory agencies, influencing strategic direction and investment priorities.
- • Author high-quality sections of IND/CTA filings, study reports, investigator brochures, and regulatory briefing documents, ensuring compliance with FDA, EMA, VICH, and other global guidelines.
- • Drive cross-functional collaboration across pharmacology, toxicology, clinical development, CMC, and regulatory affairs, fostering a culture of scientific rigor, transparency, and continuous improvement.
- • Champion the adoption of cutting-edge immunogenicity prediction tools, in silico models, and novel assay technologies that reduce animal use, accelerate timelines, and enhance predictive power.
- • Mentor junior scientists and bioanalytical colleagues, sharing deep expertise in innate and adaptive immunity, assay development, and regulatory science to elevate team capability and scientific output.
- • Proactively monitor emerging literature, regulatory trends, and competitive intelligence to refine Zoetis’ immunogenicity strategy and maintain the company’s position as the global leader in animal health innovation.
- • Balance multiple high-priority projects in a fast-paced matrix environment, demonstrating agility in shifting priorities while maintaining meticulous attention to detail and data integrity.
- • Contribute to external scientific visibility through peer-reviewed publications, conference presentations, and active participation in industry consortia, reinforcing Zoetis’ reputation for scientific excellence.
🎯 Requirements
- • Ph.D. in immunology, pharmacology, biochemistry, or related discipline plus ≥4 years of pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry experience focused on immunogenicity of biotherapeutics.
- • Demonstrated track record of peer-reviewed publications and/or regulatory submissions that evidence deep expertise in immunogenicity risk assessment and bioanalytical strategy.
- • Comprehensive understanding of innate and adaptive immune mechanisms underlying anti-drug immune responses in veterinary or human biologics.
- • Hands-on proficiency with ADA, NAb, and related immunogenicity assays, including cut-point determination, validation, and data interpretation according to global regulatory guidelines.
- • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey complex immunological concepts to diverse scientific and non-scientific audiences.
- • Nice-to-have: experience with immunogenicity prediction algorithms, statistical cut-point analysis software, and direct interactions with FDA, EMA, or other regulatory agencies.
