- • As an Implementation Project Lead at Optro, you will play a pivotal role in driving customer success by managing end-to-end software implementations for a leading audit, risk, ESG, and InfoSec platform trusted by over 50% of the Fortune 500, including 7 of the Fortune 10. Your work will directly enable organizations to achieve greater clarity, agility, and compliance through Optro’s award-winning technology, contributing to the company’s recognition as one of the 500 fastest-growing tech companies in North America for seven consecutive years.
- • You will be responsible for guiding customers through the full implementation lifecycle—from sales handoff and kickoff to design, configuration, user acceptance testing, and system go-live—ensuring seamless adoption of Optro’s GRC solutions while maintaining project timelines, managing cross-functional resources, and delivering measurable value aligned with client objectives.
- • Day to day, you will develop deep product expertise to configure Optro’s platform to meet diverse customer needs, gather and interpret complex requirements from stakeholders across audit, risk, IT, and compliance functions, and translate them into actionable implementation plans.
- • You will serve as the primary project manager for implementations of varying scale—small, medium, and large—coordinating internal teams (including product, support, and sales) and external client resources to ensure timely delivery of milestones, maintain accurate project status reporting, and proactively identify and mitigate risks.
- • You will facilitate workshops, lead user acceptance testing sessions, provide training and support to end-users, and act as a trusted advisor who builds strong, fast relationships with clients through diplomatic communication, active listening, and solution-oriented engagement.
- • You will leverage intermediate to expert Excel skills to analyze data, track project metrics, create implementation timelines, and support configuration tasks, while applying strong analytical and organizational abilities to manage multiple concurrent projects with shifting priorities.

🎯 Requirements
- • 3+ years of experience in internal audit, external audit, IT audit, IT compliance, or risk management, with direct involvement in implementing, configuring, or rolling out audit, risk, or compliance systems
- • Intermediate to expert Excel skills
- • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred)
- • Proven experience in GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance), including implementing, managing, or optimizing GRC frameworks, processes, or tools to meet organizational compliance and security objectives
- • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, with emphasis on phone, email, and online communications
- • Ability to connect at all levels of the organization using diplomatic communication, influence, and negotiation skills
