- • As an Independent Contractor Hospital RN specializing in Appeal Writing and Denials Management, you will play a critical role in helping healthcare clients recover revenue by evaluating inpatient admissions and crafting clinically sound appeals that establish medical necessity.
- • Day to day, you will perform retrospective medical necessity reviews, construct fact-based clinical appeal letters using appropriate criteria, self-assign work from weekly case queues, and complete a minimum of 20 appeal letters per week within 5-day turnaround windows.
- • You will join CorroHealth, a company dedicated to improving clients’ financial health through scalable reimbursement solutions and clinical expertise, where your success is directly tied to the organization’s mission and growth.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in utilization review, denial management, and clinical documentation improvement while gaining remote, flexible experience as an independent contractor with opportunities for professional development and performance-based earnings.
🎯 Requirements
- • Active unrestricted RN license in at least one U.S. state
- • Minimum of 5 years recent acute-care hospital experience
- • Minimum of 2 years Utilization Review or Case Management experience within the last 5 years
- • Excellent attention to detail, strong written communication skills, and computer proficiency
🏖️ Benefits
- • $1,500 training stipend upon completion
- • $45 per hour for meetings attended (prorated for actual time)
- • $15–$45 per completed written appeal letter, based on complexity of medical record review
- • Flexible, part-time independent contractor schedule with minimum 20 hours/week and maximum 40 hours/week unless approved
- • Bi-weekly payments for all work completed
