- • As a Technical Recruiter at HappyRobot, you will play a pivotal role in our growth, partnering directly with our founders and hiring managers. Your primary responsibility will be to attract and hire top-tier talent across our critical engineering and operations teams, ensuring we have the expertise needed to execute our ambitious vision.
- • You will own the full-cycle recruiting process for a variety of technical roles. This encompasses everything from initial sourcing and engagement to candidate assessment, interview coordination, and ultimately, extending offers and closing candidates. Your ability to manage multiple requisitions simultaneously and deliver exceptional results will be key to your success.
- • A core aspect of this role involves building and nurturing robust pipelines of high-quality candidates. You will employ creative and effective sourcing strategies to identify passive and active talent, ensuring a consistent flow of qualified individuals for current and future hiring needs. This requires a proactive and strategic approach to talent acquisition.
- • You will collaborate closely with founders and hiring managers to deeply understand their specific role requirements, team dynamics, and the essential skills and attributes needed for success. This partnership will involve developing detailed role definitions and scorecards to ensure a structured and effective evaluation process for all candidates.
- • Crafting and delivering an outstanding candidate experience is paramount. From the very first point of contact through the entire interview process and to the final offer, you will ensure candidates feel valued, informed, and engaged. A positive candidate experience is crucial for attracting and securing top talent, and for building our employer brand.
- • You will be expected to iterate quickly on recruiting strategies and explore diverse sourcing channels. This includes leveraging LinkedIn Recruiter, professional networks, industry events, employee referrals, and other innovative methods to reach and engage potential candidates. Your adaptability and willingness to experiment will be vital.
- • A significant part of this role involves building scalable processes, systems, and reporting mechanisms to support our rapid hiring trajectory. As HappyRobot grows, we need robust and efficient recruiting infrastructure that can adapt to increasing demands. You will contribute to developing and refining these systems to ensure we can hire effectively at scale.
- • You will also contribute to building and enhancing our employer brand. This involves actively participating in and contributing to our presence on platforms like LinkedIn, potentially representing HappyRobot at industry events, and fostering a strong referral program to leverage our existing network.

🎯 Requirements
- • Minimum of 4 years of experience in technical recruiting, with a strong preference for experience gained within high-growth startup environments.
- • Demonstrated proficiency in sourcing top technical talent using a variety of creative and effective methods, including but not limited to LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, and networking.
- • Proven experience recruiting for a range of technical roles, such as Software Engineers (across various specializations), Product Managers, Data Scientists, and other related technical positions.
- • Ability to independently manage the full recruitment lifecycle for assigned roles, from initial job intake to offer negotiation and closing, with a high degree of autonomy and minimal direct oversight.
- • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and candidate closing skills, with a track record of building strong relationships with candidates and stakeholders.
- • A genuine and deep interest in Artificial Intelligence (AI), cutting-edge technology, and the unique challenges and rewards of building early-stage teams in a rapidly evolving industry.
