- • Run full-cycle desks on live industrial accounts: electricians, controls techs, maintenance techs, PLC techs, anodizing specialists, and the plant managers and directors above them
- • Make heavy daily call volume and cold outreach to passive candidates on Indeed, LinkedIn, and FactoryFix
- • Own your desk from intake to offer: no handoffs partway through a search
- • Get dropped onto major accounts like steel mills, aluminum extrusion facilities, and critical infrastructure companies from day one, and learn how that plant actually runs fast enough to sound credible on your first candidate call
- • Ask the right questions in candidate screens to distinguish a maintenance tech who can troubleshoot a VFD fault from one who can only describe it
- • Work closely with a senior team that has already built relationships with clients -- your job is to flood those searches with the right people
🎯 Requirements
- • 3 to 5 years of full-desk recruiting experience, ideally in industrial, manufacturing, maintenance, or skilled trades
- • High-volume desk experience in an adjacent space (logistics, light industrial staffing, blue-collar trades) with genuine hunger to specialize in heavy industrial
- • You are comfortable with the grind: dialing, cold outreach, and rejection are most of the job
- • You ask good questions and pick up technical context quickly. You do not need to be an electrician, but you need to know why the difference between Allen-Bradley and Siemens matters to the hiring manager
- • You want to make more money through performance, not through a promotion into management
- • You care about your candidates: You call them back, you give real feedback, and you do not ghost anyone
