- • As an Industry Insights Analyst & Editorial Lead at Neara Inc., you will serve as a rare hybrid of analyst and writer, transforming complex data and external evidence into compelling narratives that shape how stakeholders understand the evolving energy grid and infrastructure landscape.
- • Your day-to-day will involve leading research projects on grid resilience and the energy transition, generating and testing hypotheses using public data sources, translating findings into executive-ready reports, blogs, briefings, and campaign content, and acting as a trusted thought partner to leaders in Sales, Product, and executive teams.
- • Neara Inc. is a mission-driven company using advanced machine learning and physics-enabled digital twins to model electricity grids across four continents, helping utilities anticipate risks from extreme weather and structural stress to build a more resilient global energy future.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in energy infrastructure analysis, sharpen your ability to translate technical and regulatory material into business-relevant insights, and establish Neara’s authoritative point of view on industry trends through evidence-based storytelling that influences policymakers, investors, and media.
🎯 Requirements
- • 8+ years of experience in analytical and writing-driven work, ideally in energy, infrastructure, technology, or journalism with relevant domain depth
- • Strong writing and editing skills to craft authoritative narratives for senior business and technical audiences
- • Analytical fluency in sourcing, structuring, and interrogating large public datasets, with facility in tools like SQL or Python being a plus
- • Ability to act as a trusted thought partner to senior stakeholders, challenging assumptions and shaping strategic thinking
- • Skill in translating complex technical and regulatory material (e.g., rate cases, bills, technical papers) into clear, credible business language
- • Deep curiosity about the energy transition and infrastructure landscape, with judgment to spot emerging issues early
