  • • As an Information Assurance Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in safeguarding sensitive information and ensuring the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of systems and data. Your expertise will be crucial in developing, implementing, and maintaining robust security policies, procedures, and controls that align with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.

  • • Developing and maintaining comprehensive documentation related to information assurance policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines will be a core responsibility. This ensures clarity, consistency, and adherence across the organisation.
  • • You will contribute to the development and maintenance of business continuity and disaster recovery plans, ensuring that the organisation can maintain operations in the event of a disruption.
  • • The role requires a proactive approach to identifying and addressing security risks before they can be exploited. This includes conducting regular vulnerability assessments and working with relevant teams to remediate identified issues.
  • • You will act as a subject matter expert on information assurance matters, providing advice and guidance to senior management and project teams.
  • • Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and standards, such as GDPR, ISO 27001, and government security policies, will be a fundamental part of your duties.
  • • You will be instrumental in fostering a culture of security consciousness, encouraging all employees to be vigilant and report potential security concerns.
  • • This contract position offers a unique opportunity to apply your extensive knowledge and experience in a dynamic environment, making a tangible impact on the security and resilience of critical systems.
  • • The expectation for this role to be Outside IR35 provides a valuable financial advantage, allowing for greater control over your contracting engagement.
  • • Your presence on-site in Doncaster for two days a week will facilitate essential team collaboration, knowledge sharing, and hands-on engagement with key personnel and infrastructure.
  • • This role is ideal for a seasoned professional looking for a challenging and rewarding contract that leverages their expertise in information assurance.
  • • You will be a key contributor to the ongoing success and security of the projects you are assigned to, working within a reputable organisation known for its commitment to excellence.
  • • The opportunity to work on diverse projects will provide continuous learning and development, keeping your skills sharp and your career progressing.
  • • Your insights and recommendations will directly influence security strategies and operational practices, ensuring Methods remains at the forefront of secure information management.
