- • As an Information Assurance Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in safeguarding sensitive information and ensuring the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of systems and data. Your expertise will be crucial in developing, implementing, and maintaining robust security policies, procedures, and controls that align with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
- • You will be responsible for conducting comprehensive risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities and threats across various IT environments. This involves analysing system architectures, network configurations, and data flows to pinpoint areas of weakness and propose effective mitigation strategies.
- • A key aspect of your role will be to develop and implement security awareness training programs for staff, fostering a strong security culture throughout the organisation. This includes creating engaging content, delivering training sessions, and monitoring compliance to ensure all personnel understand their responsibilities in maintaining information security.
- • You will also be tasked with managing and responding to security incidents. This includes developing incident response plans, coordinating the investigation of security breaches, and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence. - • Developing and maintaining comprehensive documentation related to information assurance policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines will be a core responsibility. This ensures clarity, consistency, and adherence across the organisation.
- • You will contribute to the development and maintenance of business continuity and disaster recovery plans, ensuring that the organisation can maintain operations in the event of a disruption.

🎯 Requirements
- • Active Security Clearance (SC)
- • Proven experience in Information Assurance, Cyber Security, or a related field.

- • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex security concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
