📋 Description
- • As a Senior Data Engineer at Potloc, you will take full ownership of the company's data engineering function, driving the architecture, strategy, and execution of data pipelines that power critical business functions across Finance, Sales, Operations, and Product.
- • Your day-to-day responsibilities include designing, building, and maintaining scalable ELT pipelines, modeling data using dbt, ensuring data quality and observability, managing cloud infrastructure on AWS/GCP, and implementing engineering best practices such as CI/CD, IaC, and monitoring.
- • You will operate within a dynamic, international startup environment rooted in four core values: Excellence, Teamwork, Honesty, and Adaptability, with offices in North America and Europe, supporting data-driven decision-making for global consulting and private equity clients.
- • In this role, you will have the autonomy to evolve the current tech stack (AWS, BigQuery, Airflow, Docker, dbt, meltano, Terraform), challenge existing systems, and lead the strategic direction of Potloc’s data platform while collaborating closely with senior data and engineering experts.
🎯 Requirements
- • 6+ years of experience in Data Engineering or data-oriented Software Engineering with excellent mastery of SQL and Python
- • Strong experience designing and operating scalable ELT pipelines
- • Deep expertise in data modeling using dbt and modern data warehouses such as BigQuery, Snowflake, or ClickHouse
- • Significant experience working in cloud environments (AWS or GCP)
- • Fluent English required; French is a plus
- • Ability to work autonomously in low-structure environments with high ownership and initiative
