- • Leads 1:1 client discovery and strategy sessions to understand learning needs and define project scope
- • Applies adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies (e.g., ADDIE, SAM) to make independent design decisions for assigned projects
- • Designs learning experiences that drive measurable learner engagement, recommending format and structure based on content and audience requirements
- • Analyzes learner feedback and assessment data to identify gaps and propose targeted content improvements
- • Contributes instructional expertise to internal project discussions, advocating for design choices that prioritize learner outcomes
- • Incorporates stakeholder and learner feedback to refine content quality and ensure alignment with objectives
- • Independently researches and evaluates tools, formats, and approaches best suited to each project’s learning goals
- • Owns end-to-end development of learning modules, courses, and programs from initial design through QA and deployment
- • Develops storyboards, scripts, prototypes, assessments, and final production assets independently and on schedule
- • Manages workload across multiple concurrent projects, proactively communicating capacity and timeline risks to project managers
- • Owns the revision cycle for assigned content: evaluates feedback, exercises design judgment on inclusions, and documents rationale for all decisions
- • Contributes to and drives adoption of shared team standards, including reusable templates, style guides, and production documentation
- • Executes all deliverables within defined SOW scope, proactively flagging scope risks before they impact timelines or quality
- • Produces polished, interactive eLearning content using Articulate Storyline and Rise without external support
- • Independently publishes, tests, troubleshoots, and maintains course content on LMS/LXP platforms
- • Independently records, edits, and produces video content for learning programs
- • Manages SCORM packaging, testing, and version control for compliance and delivery
- • Delivers learning content across multiple modalities including eLearning, video, ILT, and job aids
- • Confidently leads client-facing meetings for discovery, updates, and recommendation presentations
- • Presents design decisions and rationale clearly to stakeholders and reviewers
- • Communicates clearly in writing and verbally, documenting design decisions, revision rationale, and production notes
- • Translates complex subject matter into accessible, engaging, and learner-centered content
- • Builds effective working relationships with SMEs, project managers, and Learning Strategists to ensure high-quality outcomes
- • Collaborates effectively across cross-functional teams to deliver integrated learning solutions
- • Demonstrates patience and empathy when supporting learners and stakeholders with varying levels of technical comfort
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- • 2–4 years of experience in instructional design or learning content development
- • Ability to provide a portfolio demonstrating ownership of eLearning or blended learning projects from design through delivery
- • Solid knowledge of adult learning principles and ability to apply them independently across varied content types
- • Proficient in Articulate Storyline and Rise; able to produce polished, interactive eLearning without support
- • Proficient in LMS/LXP platforms — independently publishes, tests, troubleshoots, and maintains course content
