- • As an Instructor for Structural Engineering (SE) Exam Prep at PPI, a Kaplan Company, you will play a vital role in shaping the next generation of licensed structural engineers by delivering expert-led, live online instruction for the NCEES SE licensing exam. Your work directly contributes to student success and professional readiness in a high-stakes, nationally recognized licensure pathway.
- • Day to day, you will: deliver engaging live online lectures aligned with the established SE exam prep curriculum; demonstrate deep subject matter expertise in structural engineering topics relevant to the NCEES exam; mentor and support students through clear communication and responsive teaching practices; prepare thoroughly for each session by reviewing materials, updating slides, and submitting weekly feedback on course content for continuous improvement; ensure technical readiness for all webinars by logging in early, verifying audio/video and internet stability, managing recordings, and maintaining a distraction-free teaching environment; and uphold academic integrity by adhering to schedules, curriculum standards, and PPI’s quality benchmarks.
- • You will be part of PPI’s elite network of subject matter experts within Kaplan Professional, a trusted leader in licensure exam preparation with decades of experience helping engineers, architects, and other professionals achieve their career goals. The team is collaborative, mission-driven, and committed to academic excellence and student advocacy in a remote-first, nationwide instructional model.
- • In this role, you will refine your instructional techniques, deepen your impact as an educator and mentor in the engineering community, and contribute to the evolution of exam prep materials through direct feedback and real-time teaching insights—enhancing both your professional profile and the quality of future SE candidate resources.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
- • Licensed Structural Engineer (SE) through NCEES (Civil PE license alone is not eligible)
- • Ability to effectively utilize online classroom technology for live instruction
