  • • The Intake Coordinator is responsible for providing quality service by accurately and respectfully triaging telephone, written and electronic inquiries from employees/members, providers and clients.
  • • Inquiries include a variety of topics such as pre-certification requests, benefit verification, status requests, etc.
  • • The HCM Operations Intake Coordinators service business for Luminare Health, Small Business Benefits, and key clients.
  • • The position may be performed remotely from anywhere within the continental United States, excluding California, New York, Alaska, and Hawaii.
  • • The role requires excellent interpersonal skills, ability to work in a dynamic team-oriented environment, and maintain high level of confidentiality.
  • • The role also requires ability to work independently with minimal supervision or instruction.
  • • The Intake Coordinator will be responsible for communicating in a positive and effective manner in both oral and written communication.
  • • The role requires ability to read and interpret documents, criteria, instructions, and policy & procedure manuals.
  • • The Intake Coordinator will be responsible for writing/create routine correspondence and reports.
  • • The role requires ability to speak effectively with clients, physicians, providers, families in crisis and community agencies as well as co-workers and senior management.
  • • The Intake Coordinator will be responsible for adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
  • • The role requires ability to compute rate, ratio and percent.
  • • The Intake Coordinator will be responsible for applying common sense understanding to carry out instruction furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
  • • The role requires ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • • The Intake Coordinator will be responsible for evaluating problems, developing alternative solutions and identifying trends and patterns.
  • • The role requires ability to work in an environment that requires organization and prioritization in order to address time sensitive assignments.
  • • The Intake Coordinator will be responsible for performing multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • • The role requires ability to maintain high level of confidentiality, flexibility and willingness to learn new tasks.
  • • The Intake Coordinator will be responsible for working in a dynamic team-oriented environment.

🎯 Requirements

  • • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
