• • As an Integration Engineer at Motiv Inc., you will be at the forefront of connecting our innovative physical operations platform with the diverse systems of our valued customers. This role is pivotal in ensuring seamless data flow and maximizing the value our clients derive from our comprehensive solutions, which span IoT hardware, AI-powered applications, vehicle and equipment tracking, driver safety, compliance, maintenance, and spend management.
• • You will collaborate closely with a variety of stakeholders, including internal business and product teams, as well as directly with customers. Your primary objective will be to deeply understand their unique business challenges and operational workflows. This understanding will enable you to design and implement sophisticated integration solutions that bridge the gap between Motiv's data-rich platform and their existing enterprise systems, ultimately enhancing their competitiveness and operational efficiency.
• • A core responsibility involves the development of custom integration solutions tailored to specific customer use cases. You will leverage your expertise in programming languages like Java and utilize leading middleware platforms such as Mulesoft, Workato, or Boomi to build robust and scalable integrations.
• • You will be instrumental in designing, building, and maintaining critical B2B EDI integrations. This includes the complex task of mapping traditional EDI formats (like ANSI X12 or EDIFACT) to modern API standards such as JSON or XML, and vice versa. This ensures that data can be exchanged effectively across different technological landscapes.
• • A significant aspect of the role involves leading the technical onboarding of trading partners. This requires configuring and rigorously testing secure communication protocols, including AS2, SFTP, and VANs, to guarantee that data exchange is not only seamless but also compliant with industry standards and security requirements.
• • You will play a key role in implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines. This automation is crucial for streamlining the testing, release, and deployment of integration assets across development, testing, and production environments. Practical experience with tools like GitHub Actions and Kubernetes is essential for maintaining efficient and reliable deployment processes.
• • Building and nurturing strong, productive relationships with senior technical individuals within customer IT departments is a key performance indicator. By understanding their technical environments and strategic goals, you will help them fully realize the immense value that the Motiv platform offers to their organization.
• • You will act as a knowledge conduit, capturing and disseminating best-practice insights and lessons learned. This valuable information will be shared across internal Motiv teams, including Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and R&D, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and informed decision-making.
• • The role demands a proactive approach to customer satisfaction, ensuring that project deadlines are met and that clients are delighted with the integration services provided. Furthermore, you will be adept at identifying opportunities for expanding our service offerings and potential upsell opportunities, contributing directly to the company's growth.
