Full Job Description
📋 Description
- • FluidStack Inc. is seeking an Integrator Quality Manager to spearhead end-to-end quality assurance for its fabrication ecosystem, ensuring all delivered skids and modules meet stringent engineering specifications, commissioning requirements, and project schedule commitments. This pivotal role is instrumental in FluidStack's mission to rapidly deploy civilization-scale infrastructure for AI, emphasizing speed and scale as key differentiators in a competitive landscape.
- • As the Integrator Quality Manager, your day-to-day responsibilities will encompass the comprehensive management of FluidStack's third-party quality representatives. You will be responsible for recruiting, onboarding, directing, and conducting performance management for a distributed team of contracted QC professionals stationed at each integrator's fabrication facility. This includes setting daily priorities, equipping them with detailed inspection and test plans (ITPs), and consolidating their field findings into actionable intelligence for the broader project team. You will also serve as the primary escalation point for quality holds and integrator disputes, managing coverage planning across project ramp-ups and transitions.
- • A significant part of your role will involve developing and maintaining FluidStack's Integrator Quality Manual and authoring Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) for all skid and module types. This includes defining hold points and Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) procedures. You will own CxAlloy as the system of record, defining templates, workflows, and taxonomy for reps and integrators, and conducting regular process audits to ensure genuine compliance. Furthermore, you will define Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) derived from CxAlloy data and publish regular integrator scorecards that track completion rates, issue velocity, defect trends, and FAT results.
- • You will direct quality representatives to witness and document all FAT activities, auditing CxAlloy for checklist completion and sign-off quality to confirm systems are genuinely tested before shipment. Coordination with the commissioning team will be crucial to align FAT scope with site acceptance testing requirements, thereby eliminating gaps or duplicate efforts. Ensuring all skids ship with complete documentation packages, including as-built drawings, FAT records, material certifications, and ITP sign-off sheets, will also be a key responsibility.
- • The role also involves leading the qualification of new integrator partners through facility assessments, Quality Management System (QMS) reviews, and first-article inspections. You will maintain qualification status and risk ratings for all active integrators. Directing reps to conduct ongoing in-process audits and personally conducting periodic oversight visits to verify rep effectiveness and fabrication quality will be essential. You will also issue and track Corrective and Preventive Action Requests (CARs/PARs) through Procore, ensuring root-cause closure within agreed timelines.
- • You will enforce drawing version control and submittal workflows across integrators using Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) as the central document management platform. Reviewing BIM coordination models and inspecting fabricated assemblies against BIM geometry during FAT, and managing the Request for Information (RFI) process in Procore for quality-related design clarifications will be part of your duties. Maintaining a complete, audit-ready quality record set in Procore and ACC for every skid delivered to a FluidStack project is paramount.
- • You will lead root-cause investigations for field-discovered defects and commissioning failures traced back to fabrication quality. Aggregating Non-Conformance Report (NCR), punch list, and FAT data across projects to identify systemic issues and drive targeted improvements at the integrator level will be a core function. Conducting quarterly business reviews with top integrators, presenting scorecard results, and agreeing on improvement roadmaps will foster strong partner relationships.
- • Partnering with Construction and Project Management to align quality hold points with project schedules without causing unnecessary delays, and collaborating with Commissioning and Engineering to align FAT scope with site requirements and translate design specifications into clear, inspectable fabrication standards are crucial for seamless project execution. You will also coordinate with Procurement on integrator selection criteria, quality contract clauses, and escalations for chronic quality failures.
- • About the team and company: FluidStack is dedicated to making humanity more free by building civilization-scale infrastructure for AI. They are singularly focused on delivering massive amounts of compute power faster than anyone else, rethinking every layer of the stack from power acquisition to data center operation. The company hires individuals who care deeply about this mission and are driven by speed and scale.
- • In this role, you can expect to gain extensive experience in managing a global, distributed quality team, deepen your expertise in construction quality management platforms like Procore and CxAlloy, and become proficient in BIM and Autodesk Construction Cloud for verification. You will have the opportunity to significantly impact the quality and reliability of AI infrastructure, contributing directly to FluidStack's ambitious goals and potentially shaping the future of AI deployment.
- • Competitive total compensation package including cash and equity.
- • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance.
- • Generous Paid Time Off (PTO) policy.
- • Retirement or pension plan, in line with local norms.
- • Opportunity to work on cutting-edge AI infrastructure projects.
- • Professional development and growth opportunities within a rapidly scaling company.
