• • This remote role is specifically open to candidates based in LATAM, Africa, and Eastern Europe. A crucial aspect of this position is the requirement to be available during U.S. business hours, aligning with the client's time zone (9 AM - 5 PM EST). This ensures seamless collaboration and effective communication with the U.S.-based client and internal teams.
• • As an Interior Designer focused on Concept & 3D Visualization, your primary mission will be to collaborate closely with the creative and design teams. You will be instrumental in developing original furniture concepts and meticulously translating them into polished 3D models and presentation-ready renderings. Your focus will be squarely on the creative facets of furniture design, encompassing form, proportion, style, material and finish direction, and the art of visual storytelling. You will play a vital role in bridging the gap between initial ideas and clear visual design packages ready for production partners. It's important to note that this role does not involve direct ownership of manufacturing, engineering, sourcing, or factory coordination.
• • Key Responsibilities:
• • **Concept Development & Design Collaboration:**
• • Actively participate in creative brainstorm sessions, contributing innovative ideas and developing furniture concepts that are deeply aligned with the brand's unique aesthetic and market positioning.
• • Skillfully translate diverse inputs, including references, mood boards, hand sketches, and explicit creative direction, into original and compelling furniture designs.
• • Demonstrate agility in iterating designs rapidly based on constructive feedback, consistently refining forms, intricate details, and the overall stylistic direction to achieve optimal results.
• • Support the strategic development of new collections by designing cohesive families of furniture pieces that share a common design language and aesthetic, ensuring a unified brand presentation.
• • **3D Modeling & Rendering (Primary Deliverable):**
• • Create highly accurate and detailed 3D models of a wide range of furniture pieces, including but not limited to casegoods, seating, tables, and other related furniture categories.
• • Produce exceptionally high-quality renderings that effectively and clearly communicate critical design elements, such as:
• • Precise proportions and scale, ensuring the furniture translates accurately from digital to physical.
• • Intentions for finishes and material selection, providing a realistic preview of the final look and feel.
• • Key design details that define the piece's character and craftsmanship.
• • The overall visual appeal and aesthetic impact of the furniture.
• • Generate polished, presentation-ready visuals that are suitable for internal review by stakeholders and for seamless handoff to production teams.
• • Meticulously maintain organized 3D model files, implementing robust version control practices across all design iterations to ensure clarity and traceability.
• • **Design Documentation (Light & Handoff Support):**
• • Provide basic dimensioning and layout views as required to facilitate the production handoff process, ensuring clarity for manufacturing partners.
• • Prepare clear, concise files and accompanying visuals that empower production partners to accurately interpret the design intent and specifications.
• • Maintain essential design notes and a detailed revision history to support smooth, efficient, and collaborative workflows with external partners.
