You will be an integral part of our Platform Team, contributing to breaking down traditional frontend and backend development silos to accelerate feature delivery and minimize handoffs. This role is ideal for a backend developer with robust Go experience who is eager to embrace frontend development, witness their API creations come to life in the user interface, grasp the complete feature lifecycle, and evolve into a well-rounded full-stack engineer.
• • Your primary responsibilities will include taking ownership and maintaining our critical authentication and authorization systems. This involves ensuring secure, scalable, and robust access control across our entire distributed architecture, safeguarding user data and system integrity. You will also contribute to the evolution of our user-facing applications, making impactful changes to our mobile app (built with Angular/Ionic) and web app (built with React), as well as our internal admin tools, with dedicated support from our frontend-focused teammates.
• • A key aspect of this role is owning medium-to-large features from inception to deployment. You will collaborate closely with senior engineers to architect innovative solutions, and then take the lead in implementing both the backend and frontend components, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance. Furthermore, you will be instrumental in developing Proofs of Concept (POCs) and building insightful dashboards. These tools will be crucial for gathering system insights, monitoring performance, and driving data-informed decision-making across all our operational domains.
