- • Write and maintain automated tests for web and React Native mobile applications (iOS and Android) using the WebdriverIO framework
- • Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing across multiple platforms and environments
- • Run and monitor automated test suites within CI/CD pipelines, proactively identifying and flagging failures
- • Debug test failures, analyze root causes, and communicate clear findings to developers and product stakeholders
- • Collaborate with developers and senior QA engineers to define and refine test strategies for new and existing features
- • Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and backlog grooming sessions to ensure comprehensive test coverage
- • Create, update, and maintain detailed test plans, test cases, and reporting documentation
- • Support shift-left testing practices by integrating quality assurance early in the development lifecycle
- • Contribute to the ongoing evolution and scalability of the existing automation framework with guidance from the team
- • Work closely with cross-functional engineering pods to ensure seamless product experiences across web and mobile platforms
- • Use API testing tools such as Mocha, Supertest, or Postman to validate backend functionality alongside UI automation
- • Maintain version control of test scripts and artifacts using Git and GitHub
- • Track and manage testing tasks and defects within Jira as part of Agile development workflows
- • Ensure high reliability and performance of automated test suites to support rapid, high-quality releases
- • Actively engage in team retrospectives and process improvements to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness
- • Stay current with industry best practices in test automation and quality engineering
- • Contribute to a culture of quality ownership across the engineering organization
🎯 Requirements
- • 3+ years of experience in QA automation or software development
- • Hands-on experience with WebdriverIO, Playwright, or a comparable modern test automation framework
- • Familiarity with TypeScript or JavaScript in a testing context
- • Experience running automated tests within CI/CD pipelines
- • Solid debugging and troubleshooting skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving
- • Working knowledge of Git, GitHub, Jira, and Agile development practices
